Hotel is nestled in the breathtaking lush fields of Alentejo. The entire property exudes tranquility, making it the perfect escape for those seeking peace and connection with nature. The staff were incredibly welcoming, their hospitality truly made a difference. The hotel restaurant was a highlight of our visit. Every dish was crafted with fresh, local ingredients, bursting with authentic flavors. The vegetarian options were plentiful and thoughtfully prepared, and the wine list featured a fine selection of local wines. Room is tastefully decorated, it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The serene atmosphere of the hotel, combined with its eco-conscious approach, made our stay feel even more special. If you're looking for a retreat that combines natural beauty, outstanding hospitality, and exceptional dining, Gandum Village is the perfect destination. I can't wait to return!

Our stay was amazing. Despite arriving a bit early we were welcomed in and given a tour of the old manor house. The surprises just kept coming: amazing rooms, large courtyard and then a pool surrounded by a lawn area. Our host also assisted us with dinner reservation. The next morning after a wonderful breakfast with fresh eggs and homemade cake we then got a super informative tour of the chocolate factory. With samples! 😀
