Every single member of staff we met was so friendly and helpful. Special mention to Francisco in the restaurant who gave us some wonderful travel tips for our road trip through Portugal. The hotel is a little out of the way for the Caminho route. However, the staff were great, the room was clean and nice. In the evening I went to the restaurant downstairs and the food and service was excellent. I do not speak Portuguese but the waiter greeted me and then helped me through the menu and directed me to local specialties.
