I liked everything in general, cozy place, incredible breakfasts, I recommend it.

The room was just the right size for me with a balcony outside. The elevator that goes up really helped with my luggage. The staff/owner was really helpful.

The location! Love the view of the city- enjoy sitting on the upper patio. Very Luxurious feel, an elevator to access all floors. The linens are soft, labelled and the bed is the most comfortable I slept in throughout my stay in Portugal. Explore the multitude of restaurants and high end shopping all within a quick walk! The subway is down the street. Some of the best coffee I had was next door! There is a market on Saturdays!

The hotel is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Lovely gardens, peace and tranquility. The staff are professional, kind and helpful. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with quality products- I particularly enjoyed the coffee and the orange juice. Travelers with children should know that the indoor pool is adults only from 9-11 a.m and from 19-21 p.m. It is very clearly stated- at the front desk, in the elevators, at the entrance of the pool. But ,of course, at 20 p.m, there was a couple with two young children. Well, we complained to the front desk and they quickly shooed them away. So, please, don't be those entitled parents. You have all day to enjoy the pool- follow the rules and let other guests enjoy it for a couple of hours without screeching, screaming and splashing.

This is an outstanding little inn with small intimate public spaces to sit and read a book. I go to Sintra to stay at Lawrence’s.

Breakfast very good. The manager was the best I have ever had!! Excellent. He was very, very helpful. I think he is also the owner.

Great location, convenient check in etc. in the house in the common room there are many sculptures, paintings, books, decorative elements. our room had wonderful light, quite spacious, bathroom. shampoo and shower gel smelled nice. comfortable bed, beautiful view from the window.

Such a wonderful little boutique hotel at a reasonable price! The two young ladies that manned the front desk were delightful & took great care in helping us get the most out of our short visit to Sintra. Comfortable bed, great shower & our room opened up onto a patio with with terrace below. 24 hour espresso machine, afternoon pastries & a nice breakfast buffet with good variety (from healthy cereal & (dairy & non-dairy) milk to pancakes & pastries). Very convenient to train station & just a pleasant, short & mostly flat walk into the historic center. We can't wait to return!

I recently stayed here after the reopening and had a lovely experience. The place has unique atmosphere and style, you can feel like in a real palace. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Sintra's historic center, making it easy to explore the town on foot. My room was comfortable and very well maintained, and the staff were welcoming throughout my stay. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Sintra :)

This place feels like paradise in an unexpected place! We were going to Sintra for the day and found this lovely property. It is relaxing with a really nice outside covered sitting area, a creek that runs through the property, very nice gardens, chickens (which meant fresh eggs for breakfast), a pool (although we didn't use it, it looked inviting), and much more. Parking is great too. Overall, a fantastic one night stay. We want to go back and spend more time there.
