This was an amazing experience: the Toth family were incredibly lovely people. They helped us in many ways throughout our stay. Alex fixed our broken cooler box, introduced us to interestjng people in Viseu,his wife Mariana was super friendly. The house where we stayed was an old German (tsipser) wooden cottage looking like a small fairy tale house. We had all the comfort and a nice terrace where we were chatting with other guests and the hosts. Casa Toth is a place you should not miss if you want to know more about Viseu de Sus, its people and local history!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ O experiență de neuitat într-un colț autentic de Maramureș! De la primul moment am fost întâmpinați cu o ospitalitatea specifica zonei iar gazda, ne-au făcut să ne simțim ca acasă. Pensiunea păstrează cu grijă farmecul tradițional maramureșean, îmbinând perfect autenticitatea cu confortul. Camerele sunt impecabil de curate, decorate cu mult bun gust, iar fiecare detaliu reflectă respectul pentru tradițiile locului. Mâncarea a fost absolut delicioasă, pregătită din ingrediente locale și servită cu multă căldură. Liniștea, peisajele spectaculoase și atmosfera autentică transformă acest loc într-o adevărată oază de relaxare. Recomand din toată inima această pensiune tuturor celor care își doresc să descopere adevăratul spirit al Maramureșului. Cu siguranță vom reveni! ❤️

The grounds of the property are beautiful. The exterior of the house and adjacent porches are very specific to rural Maramures, simply charming. The owner added a lot of cute accessories in decorating the property. My favorite place was the open deck in the back of the house overseeing the river. The beds are comfortable, shower is large and good water flow. Very clean throughout. Viseu de Sus is not a big town, distances to the city center or Mocanita from Casa Chira are short and can be walked. The host brings fresh pastry daily for breakfast. We needed to stay an extra night and the owner was able to accommodate us.
