The rooms were well equipped and spotless, with a nice comfortable bed. It was the perfect relaxing getaway after spending the day hiking and exploring the area.

anyone who loves trekking or simply having a laid back time...
anyone who loves trekking or simply having a laid back time away from city crowds or crammed beach sides in a summer, this is a good choice. Traditional Serbian couisine restaurants are part of the allure for sure. Those who know of Soko Banja need no introduction or recommendation for it. To those that don't know of it, I can safely say that its worth visiting, Don't stick to the Soko Banja town at all times , though. Visit the famous natural wonder of The Cave (Pekjina) or the mounatin side of Ozren for an oxygen infused promenade and enjoy the cool of the shades from the treetops safe from the summer heat!

We were pleasantly surprised with the town itself and with the surrounding area. There are lots of parks and green spaces throughout the town, plenty of children's playgrounds, and beautiful hikes around the town with amazing views of the mountains and Soko grad.
I heartily recommend the old Turkish bath - Amam.

Soko Banja is one of the healthiest places on the planet.
Soko Banja is one of the healthiest places on the planet. There are hot springs, forest trails, breathtaking nature and amazing food. I tend to go back whenever I can as it really boosts your health. You can buy teas, honey, and other natural remedies, and if you are struggling with asthma, this place is a must. "Milosev konak" is a local landmark with amazing food. The Turkish bath with the hot spring and massages is a must. Take a walk or take a taxi to the Ripaljka waterfall and or the Soko Grad fortress. There are brooks, forests and streams where you can immerse yourself in the nature and get away from the busy lifestyle.

Soko Banja in Serbia is a fantastic hidden gem in the heart of Europe, perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful getaway. The surrounding nature is stunning, with beautiful hills, mountains, rivers, and forests to explore. It has a lot of spa places, including the traditional Turkish hamam.
Some of the must see in Soko Banja: Ozren, Župan plaža, Pećina, Borići, Bovan lake (Bovansko jezero), restaurants in the pedestrian street.
While the town's infrastructure isn't the best, it's gradually improving. And you will not mind it, as hospitality of the locals, prices will shock you in a positive way! A big plus is the affordability—accommodation and the delicious local food are incredibly cheap, making it a great destination for travelers on a budget.
Definitely worth a visit!
