Gorgeous. The room was large and with beautiful features including a thoughtfully-appointed kitchenette; even the cookware was really nice. Large closet and multiple luggage racks. Beautiful views to the sea. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but it looked nice and also has a view to the water. Air con and shower both worked great. It’s walking distance to a restaurant, bus stop, and a beach, but a little isolated otherwise so a car or plan to use the bus is advisable. There is a small store within walking distance to purchase staples. If we had more time (and rental car) this is a property we would have loved to use as a base for exploring Praslin.

Our stay at Chauve Souris Relais was truly a piece of paradise. Laurent, Mr. Duke, and the rest of the team were amazing thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. We stayed in the Pirata Villa, and waking up to the stunning sunrise from our room balcony felt absolutely dreamy. We were also lucky to be there during the full moon, and the view of the moon shimmering across the sea was nothing short of surreal. The food was another wonderful surprise everything was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we highly recommend this piece of paradise in Praslin. A magical experience from start to finish.

It's at the end of the road, and practically on the beach. Couldn't get any better with the location. The area was well maintained, with a lot of birds around, and the deluxe room we stayed in (#403) was facing the beach, with a large garden in between. The highlight of our trip and stay here was the Customer Relations executive, Bilal. Right from helping me cut down on some unnecessary trips around (& recommending the most cost effective options) to hiring a rental car to sending me detailed "things to do /see" lists for Praslin, Mahe and La Digue, he was just perfect. He welcomed us on arrival, checked in every day and also made sure we had every need covered, finally bidding us goodbye. The breakfast buffet was quite elaborate and for dinner or lunch there were 4-5 options within a 4 minute walk, as well as two small supermarket shops that sold most stuff people would need. A really wonderful place to stay and highly recommended. Made even more fabulous due to the care and dedication of Bilal - Thank you very much!

Everything was perfect. The room was big and clean, with an amazing view to the ocean. The breakfast and dinner had a huge variety of food and a very nice atmosphere. There were always enough chairs on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful place with a lovely and cooperative host. A nice beach is just across the road. The house had all the facilities and amenities needed for our stay. The garden was awesome and we'll maintained we had our breakfast in the cabana next to the house with the ocean in front of us. We celebrated a birthday and our sons cooperate with Nicole to surprise us and Nicole added on top of that her own surprises, we can't thank her enough. So we had great time and awesome vacation. We highly recommend it.

We stayed there between 21 to 28 Mar 2024. The facilities are amazing – the room was spacious and clean with beautiful lighting, great AC, very comfortable furniture. The patio in front of the room had very comfortable garden furniture and we had a very nice swimming pool right in front of it. The restaurant is in the open, surrounded by a beautiful garden! The food was excellent – very delicious, with a lot of choice and very fresh! They accommodated the gluten free diet of my wife with various options and spacial gluten free plate for her. The location is superb – the beach is perfect and Cafe Des Arts (the beach restaurant/club) is super, it is also close to local shops. The garden is amazing and full of more and more hidden places that you discover through your stay there and I'm sure that we missed to see all of them. The staff were very friendly and supported us with booking trips and advising. Overall, it is an amazing place and we plan to return if we can! We would highly recommend the Le Duc de Praslin hotel!

We liked very, very much everything: from the beach, the sand, the palms, the birds, the perfect water for swimming into the ocean at the sunset, the entire resort, the green area and cleanliness everywhere to the room & our terrace (thanks for the upgrade!!), the food (we had half board - great chef, amazing food options) and most of all THE STAFF!!! CONGRATS! Thank you so much for an amazing vacation!

It's a very picturesque small village.

It's a very picturesque small village. We didn't see much of it, unfortunately. It rained a lot, which kept us indoors. Curieuse Island is exceptional. It's a must-see. However, be aware: the snorkeling part is rather disappointing. If you have your own gear, bring it. The equipment provided locally was quite basic and of poor quality. Gerry, a local taxi driver, is outstanding; if you ever get the chance to explore the island with him. You really need to choose the right time of year. The Seychelles lose some of their charm in the rain. Moreover, the biggest challenge remains the cost of everything.

It is a good starting point to explore Praslin island.

It is a good starting point to explore Praslin island. The beach is fine and good for swimming. The buses run regularly to the other parts of the island if you want to explore. It is also the best starting point to see land turtles on Couriesse island. If you don't want to spend a fortune on food, there are some tasty take away options for 60-100 rupies.

Perfect place to stay longer from where you can go visit...

Perfect place to stay longer from where you can go visit other places like Curieuse island (turtle island), many snorkelling places (but you have to go for a trip, you can not snorkell straight from the beach), other places to visit are reachable by car - a lot of car rentals there. We loved Les Lauriers Eco hotel, stayed there for 10 nights - amazing place to stay and we ate there also - you will understand after dinner why they usually are fully booked and it is better to book a place there in advance.
