Everything was perfect. The room was big and clean, with an amazing view to the ocean. The breakfast and dinner had a huge variety of food and a very nice atmosphere. There were always enough chairs on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful place with a lovely and cooperative host. A nice beach is just across the road. The house had all the facilities and amenities needed for our stay. The garden was awesome and we'll maintained we had our breakfast in the cabana next to the house with the ocean in front of us. We celebrated a birthday and our sons cooperate with Nicole to surprise us and Nicole added on top of that her own surprises, we can't thank her enough. So we had great time and awesome vacation. We highly recommend it.

We stayed there between 21 to 28 Mar 2024. The facilities are amazing – the room was spacious and clean with beautiful lighting, great AC, very comfortable furniture. The patio in front of the room had very comfortable garden furniture and we had a very nice swimming pool right in front of it. The restaurant is in the open, surrounded by a beautiful garden! The food was excellent – very delicious, with a lot of choice and very fresh! They accommodated the gluten free diet of my wife with various options and spacial gluten free plate for her. The location is superb – the beach is perfect and Cafe Des Arts (the beach restaurant/club) is super, it is also close to local shops. The garden is amazing and full of more and more hidden places that you discover through your stay there and I'm sure that we missed to see all of them. The staff were very friendly and supported us with booking trips and advising. Overall, it is an amazing place and we plan to return if we can! We would highly recommend the Le Duc de Praslin hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at the Colibri hotel. Bikesh was very kind and great at communication. He and the staff treated us really well and offered us a complimentary dinner. We loved the view from our room, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is very close to the ferry terminal. The grounds were filled with beautiful plants and were very well maintained. The staff even lent us out some snorkeling gear. We felt at home here and would return.

It's at the end of the road, and practically on the beach. Couldn't get any better with the location. The area was well maintained, with a lot of birds around, and the deluxe room we stayed in (#403) was facing the beach, with a large garden in between. The highlight of our trip and stay here was the Customer Relations executive, Bilal. Right from helping me cut down on some unnecessary trips around (& recommending the most cost effective options) to hiring a rental car to sending me detailed "things to do /see" lists for Praslin, Mahe and La Digue, he was just perfect. He welcomed us on arrival, checked in every day and also made sure we had every need covered, finally bidding us goodbye. The breakfast buffet was quite elaborate and for dinner or lunch there were 4-5 options within a 4 minute walk, as well as two small supermarket shops that sold most stuff people would need. A really wonderful place to stay and highly recommended. Made even more fabulous due to the care and dedication of Bilal - Thank you very much!

We had a fantastic stay at Ocean Villa! The villa was in excellent condition. - spotlessly clean and well-maintained. It was cleaned daily, which made our stay feel extra comfortable and hassle-free. We were warmly welcomed with refreshments on arrival, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our visit. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The surrounding area was peaceful and quiet - perfect for relaxing. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend Ocean Villa to anyone looking for a serene and well-kept place to stay.

Grand Anse was covered with seaweed when we visited in May. So this time of year the beaches on the eastern side of the island will be a better option. Anse Georgette and Petite Kerlan ( north of Grand Anse) were free of seaweed and very beautiful - well worth a visit

We stayed 3 nights on Praslin in a guest house right on Cote do Or beach (Rose Mary's Guest House) and rented a car so we could explore the island. We did the following: 1. Visited Vallee de Mai - We wandered through the trails and felt like we were living in the Jurrasic Period with all of the Palms surrounding us. There are 6 different species of palms in the national park. We saw the giant Coco do Mer and several different types of lizards as well as the Tenrec. 2. Lounged on Anse Lazio Beach for the day: sunbathed, snorkeled and swam 3. Lounged on Anse Georgette Beach and watched the sun set 4. Took a tour to Curieuse Island to see the giant turtles and spend some time on Anse St. Jose. We had a BBQ lunch on the island then went snorkeling near Raffles Seychelles. We couldn't snorkel at St. Pierre Island due to the weather and winds. However, the boat drove around the island so we could see it. We enjoyed Anse Lazio Beach more than Anse Georgette. At Anse Lazio Beach, you can snorkel around the boulders and swim between them. Swimming is dangerous at Anse Georgette and you have quite a walk to the beach as you have to get prior permission from the Constance Lemuria resort to pass through their private resort to reach the public beach. At Anse Lazio Beach, we parked at Le Chevalier Restaurant and paid 300SCR to park and rent 2 beach lounge chairs for the beach. It included a 100SCR credit to use at the restaurant/bar. We were able to order lunch and drinks from the bar on the beach and they brought the food to us. We didn't have to leave the beach to get our food.

It's a very picturesque small village.

It's a very picturesque small village. We didn't see much of it, unfortunately. It rained a lot, which kept us indoors. Curieuse Island is exceptional. It's a must-see. However, be aware: the snorkeling part is rather disappointing. If you have your own gear, bring it. The equipment provided locally was quite basic and of poor quality. Gerry, a local taxi driver, is outstanding; if you ever get the chance to explore the island with him. You really need to choose the right time of year. The Seychelles lose some of their charm in the rain. Moreover, the biggest challenge remains the cost of everything.

My review is for Anse Lazio..

My review is for Anse Lazio..Everyone says you have to go there..we took a bus there..Luckily at the bottom at the bus stop at Villa Minoir a young gentleman gave us a lift to the beach..in the heat, with no taxi or bus going up to the beach would have exhausted us ..we met an elderly couple who we took with us..it would have been impossible to get there,in the heat, and we would have been exhausted..so to hire a car in praslin is not a bad idea..Coming back,we were told to ask the gentleman at the gift shop to taxi us to the bus stop..he however refused..not sure why..maybe he was exhausted in the heat..3 lovely ladies from Seychelles were kind enough to take us to the Bus stop..when we reached it..The bus just left..They kindly dropped us at our Hotel..Their kindness will forever be remembered

Grand Anse itself does not deserve a long time, being a beach, that's it, depending of course, on what you expect to do. Praslin itself is not very interesting compared to Mahe or even, La Digue. Praslin is good for few days, and the most interesting is on the other side, East Coast, since Grand Anse is on the West one.
