Cozy guest house is the correct name, it was super cozy! The interior was spot on, rich in nice details. We had such a lovely time there, playing in the snow outside and relaxing in front of the fireplace, making food in a well equipped kitchen, we really enjoyed everything about the cottage. It was very clean and well organised, it was easy to stay there and find everything we needed. Just the guest house in itself would have made our stay a 10/10, but in addition we got to get to know Mette. She made the vacation for me, my son and our puppy extra special. She went above and beyond for us and she is warm, kind and helpful in the most natural way. We miss her and the cottage already. Looking forward to come back again :)

Good value, close to the road, but still hidden. Not super modern, but that gives a charm. The area is beautiful. We only spent one night, so couldn't give much more information, but we had a good sleep there. One hint: don't go with Google Maps (or other navigation app) to the address, it might take you to the wrong place, 50km from there near Arvika. Use the location that appears on Booking.com! It is north of Årjäng. The host helped us, unfortunately some misunderstanding of the Swedish names added some extra confusion. :) In the end we found it and all was good.
