This is a great place to stay for a few days, with a few exceptions one has to be aware of (see below). We loved the cozy feel of the house and the sunny terrace overlooking the lake. The apartment is well equipped for cooking and cleaning (if you decide to do the cleaning yourself) and there is even a washing machine/dryer in the apartment. It was very quiet at night. There is a coop (grocery store) a 3 min drive away. The moose park is very close, and there are beautiful running /walking trails through forest to two small lakes very close by. The pools which are part of the property were very clean, and despite the summer season not crowded. Loved the fact that there were two hot whirl pools in addition to the regular pools. The Minigolf corse is also great!

Gamla Lärarbostaden provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 20 miles of Växjö Station and 20 miles of Växjö Art gallery. A steam room is available for guests.

We booked last minute, and the host didnt expect us, but he prepared the room(s) for us. You get the whole first floor, with kitchen, fridge, bedroom, sitting area. The area around is a forrest along a silent road.

This rental was a real find! The hosts could have not been more helpful. We felt instantaly welcome and safe. This is NOT a luxury resort rental - it is an apartment in an older building in a quite rural paert of Sweden, which is exactly what gives it so much charm and character. The description and photos are accurtate. The beds were comfortable. It rained the entire 4 days we stayed there so never got to sit out on the patio or fire up the grill, but still had the best time of our 2 weeks traveling through Sweden. We hope to return again soon. It felt like staying at a favorite relatives' home!
