Mallboden is a wonderful place. The hostess was phenomenal, friendly, and so helpful. The area is full of history; a short walk around the property and near by and one can start to get the feel for the history. There is a small museum on site with a video that explains the history. Our apartment was charming, with lots of character, and well equipped. There is a clean laundry facility on site. The path along the canal and by the homes is so lovely. I would go back anytime and stay at Mallboden again. Because our stay was short, we did not eat in the Cafe, however, the food and baked goods looked fabulous.
