The location is in the countryside (easily seen by the road since the tiles on the roof of the main building spell the farm name !), with some animal farm around (horses, poneys, goat, donkeys) which is always nice for adults and children alike! The apartment we had (two bedrooms, a bathroom with toilet, a toilet room and a terrace) was spick and span, big and comfortable. It would have been able to host 6 persons (while we were only two plus a two years old). The breakfast was very good with mostly products of the farm and so was the dinner. Nice playground outside and inside ! 10-15 minutes from Prostojna cave, 20 from Predjama Castle, 20 minutes from Skocjan cave. Staff very helpful and friendly, and part of the big family which runs it. If we go back to the region we would be glad to come back!

The staff was very friendly and helpful! They promote guests to get together in a common room for coffee, meals, or recreation. Everything was new and clean. We had a great time exploring the wine country in this area!

We arrived very late after having troubles with our bikes, they stayed up late to receive us and even cooked a four course dinner. Good and breakfast was amazing and everyone was extremely nice!! 10/10

Lovely and peaceful property in a small village. Our apartment was very spacious and comfortable, with 2 bathrooms and very well equipped kitchen. I would give it a 10 just based on the accommodations, but would give it even more starts if I could because of our host. Our son need to see a doctor and I asked him where we could go find one. Instead of just directing us to a hospital, he took us there in his car at 6:30 am on a Saturday!

Our one-night stay at Posestvo Rouna in the Vipava Valley was nothing short of exceptional. Traveling as a group of three friends, we chose the estate to complement an evening at the renowned Dvorec Zemono with master chef Tomaž Kavčič—and it proved to be the perfect pairing. The peacefulness of the landscape invites you to slow down and fully appreciate the natural beauty of the Vipava Valley. We particularly enjoyed tasting the estate’s own wines, which added a personal and authentic touch to the experience. It’s clear that great pride and care go into every aspect of the property, from the wine to the guest experience. In every sense, our stay exceeded expectations. Posestvo Rouna offers a rare combination of understated luxury, genuine hospitality, and an unforgettable location. Super room! Robi, the owner, quickly appeared and showed me in—a very nice, clean and comfortable room. Super quiet location (the restaurant under the room was closed the night I stayed). Breakfast spread was amazing, very fulfilling. Wine tasting was lovely with a lot of the history of the winery.
