Zuberec is a calm town in the Žilina Region.

Zuberec is a calm town in the Žilina Region. It has everything you need, including shops, an ice cream kiosk, the lovely Zuberecká štrúdla bakery, and the refreshing Studený potok stream, perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The town is conveniently located close to several starting points for hikes in the Western Tatras, with easy access to trailheads and parking areas.

- We come to Zuberec every year during the Folklore festival...

- We come to Zuberec every year during the Folklore festival on the first weekend of August. It is a lovely combination of culture and hiking. - There is a lot to do in every season - hiking, biking or skiing just to name a few. - You can also visit the museum of Orava village and cave Brestova. All in all it is a perfect location to recharge your batteries.

Located on the main road through Zuberec this hotel is easy to find as it is well marked. The rooms are spacious. WiFi worked well, but was very slow in the room. Excellent hot showers. Quiet. Friendly English speaking staffmember. There is a Tourist Information and a Coop supermarket nearby. Saturday after 12:00 all shops in Zuberec are closed, except for one place in the village that closes at 6PM, but also closed on Sunday. Bus stop is near the village church (pri Kostole) at walking distance.

The apartment is very well equipped, and perfectly maintained & clean. The building is well located in Zuberec and within few minutes you can enjoy hiking in a beautiful nature or simply just go for a ride on hilly & safe road in the city vicinity.

Great location, view from balcony, possibility to have breakfast, use wellness which was private for fair price. Fully equipped kitchen, eco cosmetics in the bathroom..very friendly and helpful receptionist, good coffee..
