The location was stunning. Endless beach and sky on the edge of the pacific. The venue is quite remote so be prepared to stay at the venue and just enjoy it with someone you love. The hotel and staff are A+, front rooms are expensive but totally worth it. The beach is wonderful though you won't be surfing. You can swim in parts of it - about 200m north along the beach you can wade in but be very aware of rips.

Nice and clean hostel with pool and well equipped kitchen. There’s enough space for everyone to spread out to have their privacy, the access to the beach and outdoor area were well maintained. The dorm rooms have a maximum of 4 beds, come with curtains and aircon. On Thursdays they usually do a big barbecue which was nice, they also offer a Pupusa night where you can learn how to make Pupusa from a local lady. There’s a variety of surfboards available to hire. The staff was super helpful and will be dearly missed. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely amazing property, beautiful garden around villas, pool was great. Staff was very polite, went out of their way for everything. The room had the most amazing view and balcony, soaking tub was an added bonus. The sunrises and sunsets were picture perfect. Right on the beach easy walk to El Tunco.

Breathtaking property right on the side of the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing from the pools and your room. The grounds were filled with lovely gardens, multiple area to relax, and amazing pools. This accommodation made my trip extra special while visiting El Salvador. So nice to hang out there all day and enjoy the hotel. And relaxing to come home to after a day of exploring. I cannot wait to come back!

We went to El Tunco, to a night club called, La Bonita.

We went to El Tunco, to a night club called, La Bonita. The environment was fun, mostly it was a younger crowd in El Tunco. We went to the port of La Libertad. It was very nice. They have restaurants everywhere. There were a lot of musicians going around the port asking for the purchase of three songs, what I did not like is that it is too many groups. Overall it is a very nice area. They have restaurants near by that are homemade foods. I would highly recommend the restaurant, La Posada 3. They had very tasty food. They have malls near by with a buffalo wild wing and other chains that the U.S. has.

They have a really beautiful Starbucks.

They have a really beautiful Starbucks. Other than that area, the beach where I stayed (avoid Coco Blue) wasn't really walkable. We hired a driver to take us around El Salvador. Raul was a safe, kind, and gentle man. I'd recommend him as a guide. I've included Raul's picture and WhatsApp contact info. Tell him Nicole & Vivi sent you.

Oh La Libertad, el Majahual awesome, i wish to be able to go back soon but it is not posbile. Is a great place to stay, the food is delicious, the room is awesome, the beach is perfect to enjoy the enjoy the ocean.

La Libertad is a lovely port city with a nice Maracon.

La Libertad is a lovely port city with a nice Maracon. Nice restaurants and places to view the ocean. Definitely worth a visit. There isn´t much to see or do in the inner city as most tourist activities are near the ocean.

Stayed for 2 days. Great ambiance, friendly people. I got to walk around and felt safe. Police presence around. Great place for drinking. Service is generally slower but nice enough to not feel rushed like in the states. Had bowls of all the seafood I could imagine for an unbelievable price. I could never get enough. Went with my wife and 2 teenagers. Will definitely come back.

La libertad is nice but el tunco is a bit better in my ooo...

La libertad is nice but el tunco is a bit better in my ooo ion with more to do. We walked the beaches however the tide was pretty high most of the day so it was difficult to properly enjoy. The town is easily walkable. They were setting up for a surf competition so the park and a few other places were closed leaving a la k of options. Pa y Ma had great food in town!! Probably the highlight of the area.

The hotel was nice, there was complementary breakfast it was typical El Salvadoran breakfast. The area was great, it was 5 mins to El Tunco. Highly recommend it!
