Amazing location and privacy. It’s a nice place to relax and enjoy. The nearby beach of the JW Marriott. Nice activity within the Hotel. We are pleased with welcoming and surprise for our Anniversary. Our suite with the pool is stunning. Staffs were amazing and keen to help all the time.

The property + the never ending pools (and who doesn’t love a swim-up bar?) is great for lounging in; for a quieter stay outside of the main areas of Phuket. Especially great if you’re staying before a flight as it’s very close to the airport + the beach infront of the hotel is pretty secluded which I loved.

Calm environment, not far from Maikhao beach, friendly and considerate staff. They allowed us to check in even in early morning. Cozy place with good facilities e.g. swimming pool, gym room. The room itself is quite spacious. Beach mats are also available to borrow.

It’s so wonderful to have met such a beautiful soul in the heart of Phuket Island. Upon check-in, we already knew that we would be in excellent hands. Oy did a sensational job in arranging all of our accommodations including our hotel stay, hotel to airport transportation and especially our elephant experience. Her level of professionalism far exceeds typical customer care. She treated each and every one of us like her family. She literally made it her mission to guarantee us having the most amazing time in Thailand. I have traveled to many places, and I haven’t yet met a concierge staff that can match Oy’s standards. She really is the personification of customer service. Her level of care is second to none as she single-handedly made sure my family had the best Thai experience. the beach is stunning. I travelled around a lot of the islands and it was one of the nicest beaches I found. It was so quiet apart from the area on the beach by the airport . The low flying aeroplanes were amazing to see

staff were great, pool was lovely, rooms were large basic and clean, shower area was good and bed comfortable, transport is needed to get to the best Thai food restaurant in the area 400m past the lotus supermarket on left called "The Old Maikow restaurant" which hotel can arrange for you. please read what i didn't like for details on distance and transport. Disliked · for travellers over a certain age who are not as spritely as they once were 20 years ago the distance to beach was a 350m walk with no cheap restaurants, to the nearest 7-11 and cheaper restaurants and street food was 400m, the nearest lotus supermarket another 7-11 was a further 400m, so if your like us(old) the hotel would call a local "samlor" (tuk tuk) who would transport you anywhere, or you could use the free hotel bicycle if your Lance Armstrong lol, remember the heat factor too. we were told that there were plans for a breakfast area for the future, and although there was a fridge in reception for the purchase of cold drinks they did not have any snacks or pot noodle style food available, which would have been handy. would we stay here again ? we would, as much as we needed transport to reach the shops etc as my wife is Thai it was easier for us to call transport direct than rely on the hotel every time. the large room could do with a bigger tv as it was only furnished with a tiny one.

The beach itself is very steep, dirty, and a bit scary when tide is high. I did find the ruins of hotels from the 2004 tsunami historically interesting but probably rather creepy for many travelers. Leave the beach to the swarms of Russians.

We came to get away form Patong Town for the final days of...

We came to get away form Patong Town for the final days of our trip, so the location was not a problem for us as we were also close to the airport. We recommend a visit to Baan Ar-Joor - the food is lovely and the history is interesting.

Mai Khao Beach is amazing, one of the best on the island but...

Mai Khao Beach is amazing, one of the best on the island but there is little in the vicinity to do. It's a long way from the main resorts which some may prefer. Its 10 minutes to the airport so perfect for a 1 night stay before flying home but personally I think its not for those wishing to stay a week or more unless you hire a car / moped.

Loved the location of Mai Khao!

Loved the location of Mai Khao! The resort pools and beach itself were amazing and not overly crowded. Watching the planes land over the beach was fascinating and made for awesome photos! There were plenty of local eateries outside of the resort and plenty of places for massages, facials, pedicures etc... The stalls down at the beach had fabulous food and drinks for $5 AUD and under and the variety was excellent! And no upset bellies!! It was easy to hail a tuk tuk when it got too hot to walk further distances as they were everywhere. One of our friends hadn't been to Thailand before so we took a day trip into Patong which took an hour and a half. We thought she should see Bangla Rd at least once! Was glad to get back to the peace and tranquility of Mai Khao though!!

We had such a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Phuket! 🌴 The location is excellent – tucked away enough to feel private and relaxing, yet still within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and everything you need. It was so convenient not having to rely on transport all the time. The interior of the property is beautifully done with thoughtful design and high-quality fittings throughout. A great stopover before flying back to the UK from Phuket. We hired a bike through the hotel and really eeked out our last 24 hours in Thailand. A great beach is walkable, as are shops and nice places to eat. Not far (and tuk tuks available) from the plane viewing point. The hotel organised us a taxi to the airport and loaned us clean towels for a shower after we'd checked out of our room. Lovely staff. Big room with okay bed and AC. Swimming pool is lovely.

I was running the Phuket 100kms Ultra Marathon. It was located on the running track, which made it very useful to me. 5 min walk in 1 direction is the beach and 5 mins the other way is shops and 7/11. But the staff here were so helpful and very friendly.
