RS Phong Riverside is a hidden gem!! If you are traveling to Khon Kaen you should stay here! My friends and I (young expats from America) stayed here for a weekend trip to the city and it was all we could have wanted and more! It is a huge property with a beautiful riverside view. What makes the stay incredible is the staff. The owner Kim is the best!! She is so kind, welcoming, and helpful. If you're worried about your Thai ability, don't! Kim speaks fabulous English and goes above and beyond for her guests. The staff can call you a taxi directly from your cabin to the city or where you plan on going. The pool is wonderful, and snacks and drinks are available for purchase. I plan on coming back!

The location was peaceful, but also very near my daughter's hospital making the location perfect. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I loved the balcony/porch attached to the room. It had a nice sitting area, with utensils for four, a refrigerator, sink, hot pot for coffee... Perfect for ordering food to be delivered. If they would upgrade the internet service, this place would be a 10.

First and foremost, the staff is incredible. Always pleasant and it’s always a pleasure to see happy staff that are excellent at their job. Secondly, the Chinese restaurant, on site, is as good as I have ever had in my 79 years and always look forward to my next dinner there.
