I had a wonderful stay at this small hotel! The location is simply lovely—tucked away in a quiet spot but incredibly close to the main street, which is packed with shops, galleries, restaurants, and cafes. ​The hotel itself is a gem. The room featured a beautiful design and was clean, with everything in excellent condition. The breakfast was delicious and high quality, though I would love to see a bit more variety in the menu, as it stayed mostly the same throughout my stay. I also caught a glimpse of the pool, which looked fantastic, though I unfortunately didn't have time to use it. The large balcony offered a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding area. ​Overall, this hotel was the perfect final touch to my almost week-long visit to this charming town. Everything felt so well-kept and welcoming—I really enjoyed my time here!

Delightful renovation of two rather old houses around a courtyard creating a delightful garden space. Hotel features an upper level dining space, (which is where the incredible breakfasts are served), which has remarkable views of the Mediterranean. During the afternoon and evening this terrace functions as a low key bar. Hosts are very cool and approachable. Simply had a great time here.

Kalkan is such a beautiful place.

Kalkan is such a beautiful place. Quite hilly so not the best place for the walking impaired. The people are super friendly and kind. The food is great. Ate out in several restaurants and every meal was delicious. It’s very safe. People leave the keys in there motor bikes! We hired a boat for the day £400 for 6 which included lunch. Drinks were extra which cost £100 on top. Which 4 cocktails and some soft drinks. Zest on a Friday is a the place to be. Seems to be the only place that has a pool party so get’s busy. Kalkan generally is a very chilled and relaxing place. Lovely restaurants and great views Not a party place for young people. More for fine dining and views I did find it to be quite pricey though. Same as London prices if not a bit more

It is, without debate, one of the prettiest small ports and...

It is, without debate, one of the prettiest small ports and towns in the entire country, and very easy to walk round... and with many older side streets full of decent shops and restaurants. But it does have one big hill, though most of everything that is so good is down by the harbour - and the sea views are superb from almost every level.

The hills are a killer but the taxis were good and always to hand we loved it but if you have walking issues maybe stay right down in the harbour shops are great food amazing its a lot more expensive in the harbour area but if your willing to go bit further around the city you get some great resturants for a lot less

We had a short visit in January to view properties.

We had a short visit in January to view properties. The weather was typical of January so no shocks there. (still warmer than Uk). Very little is open in Old Town as expected but there are still a few restaurants and bars offering the typical Kalkan hospitality. Not much to do during the day but lovely to walk around the old town, along the harbour and down to the beach, then into a restaurant bar for a cold drink and a fabulous hot meal at one of our favourites - The Doy Doy. We also ate in Aqua in Kalamar, where we were staying. Again delicious food and a cosy bar for the night. Some nights we finished the evening at the Mini Bar in Old Town for drinks. Recommend them all!

Kalkan is a kind of Hidden Gem.

Kalkan is a kind of Hidden Gem. There are countless taste stops. There are miscellaneous hotels and pensions to suit every budget. İt is possible to reach from anywhere with various means. Kalkan has a wonderful and clean sea. There are daily boat tours to the surrounding bays and beaches. Very affordable shopping at the weekly local bazaar on Thursdays. The town is full of bars and restaurants.

Kalkan is a great location for those who enjoy good food and the sea. Almost everyone can speak English and it caters for everyone. A great place for foodies!! Most villas have pools so it’s nice to chill back at the villa but also head out to the beaches. The prices are not Turkish prices which is a shame so be prepared to pay home (UK) prices but with a sea view and good service. It’s easy enough to jump in a taxi and get to the centre so it doesn’t matter if you stay either side of Kalkan. If you want to head a bit further out, Kekova (Sunken City) is just over an hour, Patara Beach is about 20 mins and Kas is lovely to walk around or catch a day trip to one of the Greek Islands. There are a number of beach clubs across Kalkan that vary in service and price but would recommend Zest and Kalamar Beach Club. Both offer very different experiences but a nice way to spend a day. Boat tours are a nice way of getting away for the day too with daily boat trips available both privately and as joint groups. I would highly recommend doing a private trip if there are 6 or more of you.

We had an amazing time at Lures hotel. The location was great with a beautiful view and all the facilities were fantastic. We loved the boat service into Kalkan town and received wonderful service from all the staff who were friendly professional and attentive. Particular huge thanks goes to Satana at the beach club who was wonderful and always made sure that I was looked after with any drinks or food we needed. Araf and Gamze at breakfast were also particularly friendly and helpful thank you for a great stay

Lovely hotel in a great location, close enough to walk to the main part of kalkan and far enough away so you can relax in peace. The staff are amazing and I'd highly recommend going to the SPA as it's probably the best massage I've ever had.

Lovely small boutique apartment complex in a very good location a few minutes walk to the center of Kalkan. Beautiful and well maintained pool area. Well equipt apartments cleaned on a daily basis. The bonus was a supply of pool towels.
