The views was the most amazing views ever, the sunset was breaktaking. The host was so helpful and kind, she even drove me to the village and showed me around. She constantly checked in to make sure that I was okay and did not needed anything. As a female solo traveler, she would offer to pickup meals and did on a couple occasions. The room was well equipped with everything I needed. It was definitely a perfect stay and I would recommend it and will definitely stay here again.

It’s both more attractive and more upmarket than it looks in...

It’s both more attractive and more upmarket than it looks in the photos. The bay is idyllic and the hotel the only thing in it. Great breakfasts and lunches. Dinner menu could be better for veggies and have more emphasis on local produce, Staff are lovely. Cleaning impeccable. Didn’t feel like high season, everything very peaceful. Good vale for money.

Planned this get away for my fiancé and I to enjoy the scenery of Speyside. It was a relaxing week spent with a memorable staff of Blue Waters Inn. A revisit is in the near future with my children. Thanks for a wonderful time.

The location of Blue Waters Inn is spectacular.

The location of Blue Waters Inn is spectacular. Speyside itself is a quiet little place and quite remote, which we like, but there's not much there. Jemma's, the one restaurant that was open in Speyside, is characterful and in a great setting; but we were charged a naughty price for a very simple meal of shrimps and rice. The 'main ridge forest' is wonderful, and we had an outstanding tour focused on bird-watching with Mr Newton George, a top ornithologist and guide who lives in Speyside. Charlotteville, a pretty fishing village on the Caribbean side, is only 15 minutes drive away. Also near is Kings Bay, on the Windward side but with good bathing facilities, very few people, and beautifully sheltered.
