We had a great time at the Holiday in Express in Petoskey. Our kids were very surprised by the complimentary limo service, which is a highlight of their trip. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was great! We will be back :)

We've stayed here for a quick trip the last 2 years. The first time, last year, it was just my husband and I. This time, we brought 2 of our teenagers and 2 small dogs. Everything is perfect. No complaints

It was absolutely stunning fir a super 8 I thought I was at a Hilton in Atlanta if they renovated the outside it would be an easy 4 star it had a pool and all renovated rooms definitely suggest a new outside look because you can definitely charge atleast a 100 a night with the way the rooms are like new and didn't cut any corners

This hotel popped up first when putting in my preferences, liked the location (close to hospital,which we needed to be at for our stay) extremely clean, NO musty room smell, loved having a makeup mirror in bathroom, don't see that in pricier hotels. Clean and spacious dining room, with everything you could want ( variety,) for breakfast. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Excellent resort on a beautiful property.

Excellent resort on a beautiful property. Lots of free additional pleasures like coco with whip cream and cinnamon, coffee, water, tea beautifully presented and displayed. Loft with family games, pole table, large screen tv. The pool and hot tub were well kept. Design of the facility has so many extra touches! The boat house has Cody chairs and chandeliers, docks, swing by the water, kayaks, row boat, trails lighted by strands of Xmas lights…. So much to do!

Alanson is a small village on the main highway about 20...

Alanson is a small village on the main highway about 20 minutes' drive north of Petoskey. There is not much there except a few small shops. The main attraction, in my opinion, in the Crooked River. Although pleasant, it is not a tourist destination by itself, but is part of a very pleasant part of northwestern Michigan.
