We have stayed here twice and absolutely love it would go back. It’s so clean and everyone is so friendly. The waterfront is amazing and the fire pit we roasted marshmallows.

Its a great house with a host to match. Very spacious with everything you could need. I couldn't ask for a better stay. The owner was very reliable. If you are looking for a house to stay in and pass the by your missing out. I would definitely stay in this home again

I rented this house for just one night and it was absolutely excellent. I was impressed with how clean and well-maintained everything was. The house felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable, with all the amenities I could have possibly needed. Even for such a short stay, the experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend this house to anyone, and would definitely book it again if I'm ever in the area.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Sunshine Home Retreat! From the moment we arrived, the home exceeded our expectations. The house is immaculately clean, with a spacious open floor plan that feels bright and welcoming. The heated pool overlooking the canal is a true gem—private, serene, and perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or an evening swim. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and we loved the thoughtful touches throughout the home, like the cozy living room furniture and comfortable beds. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The location is fantastic as well—close to local attractions, great restaurants, and shopping, yet tucked away enough to feel like your own slice of paradise. We also appreciated how responsive and helpful the hosts were throughout our stay. This home truly has it all, and we can’t wait to come back for another stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!

Laid back area, focused on life on the water.

Laid back area, focused on life on the water. We boated twice while we were there out of Pineland marina and really loved seeing dolphins every few minutes and all the sea birds, etc. We don't fish, but it is clearly a highlight of the area. Good restaurants in the area, but be prepared to wait to get a table/seat. The Lazy Flamingo and Eagle's Nest were both great, and we had great breakfast at Salty Girl's Pine Island Cafe. And, you have to try the amazing french pastries at Pine Islang Getaway Cafe. Just be careful of traffic if you have to go through Matlacha. It can be unpredictable and long. We tried to stay on the island as much as possible.
