I would recommend the Hotel Frederick to anyone that loves staying in old historic hotels. It is located right downtown and you can easily walk to any number of restaurants.

The room was clean and comfortable, but one of the toiletries was missing the hand lotion or body moisturizer dispenser was not available. Did not have more than two food options, which was ok. But for a Caesars operation I just expected more food options. Other than that it was great. I got chance to see a couple historic sights like the Kathy trail, and the town of Black water.

Really liked having the option to sleep on the bottom floor or the top floor and I picked the bottom floor right where I could see my motorcycle right in front of my room.

There was really nothing to like, it use to be my favorite place to go but it has totally changed for the worse, it looks like it is going under and no one seems to cares.the bathtubs fixtures were pulled loose from wall , trust me you do not want to go to this casino. I would definitely not recommend this place at this time.

Easy access and parking. My room was substandard.

Easy access and parking. My room was substandard. It was smelly like stale smoke, the curtains were not on the rod, the shower was a trickle. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was OK, the staff was nonexistent as far as I could tell. The guy who checked me in was unfriendly, not rude just not friendly. The cost for this stay was very high for the value - it felt like a substandard hotel. I won't be staying here next year when I return to Boonville for the Big Muddy.

We travel with our Weimaraner and like all bird/gun dogs...

We travel with our Weimaraner and like all bird/gun dogs requires excessive exercise and large outdoor areas to run. Tha large property and adjoining open area's are the primary reason we utilize this facility when traveling from Colorad to Ohio twice a year.

The casino was nice and the town was interesting.

The casino was nice and the town was interesting. We ate at Maggie’s bar and grill downtown and the food was good( I would recommend eating there.) All the locals we met were very friendly. The town looks very old and historic but didn’t seem like much goes into upkeep. It almost feels like if not for the casino this small town would die. Other than the casino there were not many other attractions to draw someone in. Not really a place for an extended trip but a nice little quick stop as your passing through.
