The folks who work at this location could not have been more helpful. I actually had to cancel my trip and they did everything right. The website i used to book my trip was booking.com and I do NOT, emphatically, recommend them as they have done everything in their power to keep my money. Including 2 customer service representatives literally yell at me when I asked a few questions and tried to explain "my side" of the story. Its been awful dealing with them. But the staff at the Hampton Inn were terrific. They helped me and have even gone to bat for me with this whole booking mess. I recommend this hotel at 100%

Front desk staff was awesome. Super friendly and made the stay pleasurable. The cookies are a classic and atill the best. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in comparison to others. Big shout out to Jeannette who went above and beyond and was super friendly! Rooms were spacious

I love when I walk in a hotel and smell cleaning products. The man at the desk was very nice and check in was quick and seamless. The room was very clean and warm upon arriving. Will stay again if we are in the area.

Arrived at the hotel and the front desk attendant was on the phone. She acknowledged me with a wave, but proceeded to continue the phone conversation. After 5 minutes, she got off the phone and checked me into my room. I was hit with the smell of mildew once I opened the door. I headed back down to the front desk and explained the situation. She apologized and gave me another room. The mildew smell was less apparent, but I still asked housekeeping for some air freshener. Later on in the evening, we discovered that the in room phone and TV did not work. After calling to the front desk on my mobile phone and speaking with the night attendant, I was put on hold. As I ventured down to the front desk, the night attendant isn’t on the phone at the front desk but can be heard talking in the back to a coworker. Keep in mind, I’m still on my cell phone at the front desk. Long story short, the night attendant was very rude and we asked to speak to the manager. The manager apologized. They were short staffed and handling many walk-in reservations. She asked how could she make things right, but at that point, it was late, we were tired and ready to go to bed. The manager was able to come to the room and resolve the tv issue. This wasn’t my first choice of hotel, but it was what was available for the holiday weekend. Another lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

This hotel is kind of hard to get to from the main street, it sits weird. The bed was so comfy. They had the swishy pillow I like and it was clean. The staff was awesome. The toilet was very loud when you flushed it. It would wake you from a good sleep.

Workout room was splendid. THANK YOU for providing towels. But the cups stuck together and not easy to separate for drinking water. The Elevator is EXTREMELY SLOW, but it did its job despite the snail pace. Breakfast has plenty of variety. It was scrumptious!! The hotel staff are extremely courteous and nice. The one lady maintained extreme control when learning the first-floor pipe busted. What a mess that was, but by the time we cam back that evening, fans were blowing to dry the carpet. JOB WELL DONE!

Great location to restaurants and shopping center. To avoid driving to downtown Richmond it was easy to get an Uber for a decent price. The hotel was quiet, clean and a great staff.
