Super cute downtown area with shops and a fun historical...

Super cute downtown area with shops and a fun historical farm for families. We ate at Tequila and it was excellent Mexican food. Also had large table for families and service was so fast, great chips and salsa!

Hotel and room very clean and comfortable.

Hotel and room very clean and comfortable. Great place to spend a night, passing through the area. My only hesitation was the delay checking in, as there was no one at the desk. Waited about 10 minutes. Apparently the gentleman was working alone. He was friendly and welcoming. I would certainly recommend the facility!

The city is beautiful.

The city is beautiful. The people we met on the streets were friendly. And the town smelled good (I know that sounds strange but it really did smell good). We went to the Old Town Burlington Museum and had a blast.

Burlington is small and very hard to find a place to eat.

Burlington is small and very hard to find a place to eat. We tried a Mexican restaurant and sat there for 25 minutes with no service so we left. Burlington does offer a great spot to stop for the night on our long travel to Oklahoma City.

I would not recommend this property.

I would not recommend this property. It was run down and no hot water. The office door was smashed. It was weird having flies in the room and there were swatters which we used. The beds were worn out and no smoke alarm.

We detoured significantly from our journey to see the Kit...

We detoured significantly from our journey to see the Kit Carson County Carousel. We were very pleased to have made the effort to see this historic and fun Burlington attraction. The staff at the merry-go-round were very friendly and informative, and the antique ride itself (1905) was beautiful and fascinating. Rides were on the hour and half hour for 25 cents, and the excellent museum's admission was $1. A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

Breakfast was part of the service offered, but they did not have it. Need to go somewhere else for my breakfast. They said that the breakfast room was under remodeling but I did not observed any work in progress. Did not clean the snow. Need to move from my car to the hotel walking in 3-4 inches of snow. Did not have extra blankets in spite on the cold night and lack of working heater... The room was freezing cold. Was moved to another room. It was cold too. The heater was not working well at all...

Great little stop by the Interstate. It’s a good value for money and the staff is very very friendly! We arrived very late in the night and we were able to get a fresh tea before going to bed. The petrol station across from the hotel is also great so really recommended spot if you thinking to stop here on your road trip.
