Very nice historical area!
Very nice historical area! Car shows and swap meets durning the spring to November at carlise fair grounds. College town kept very clean. Bustling town pubs,restaurants, stores, art galleries. Looks like Carlise would be a prettier capital than Harrisburg. Old and new architecture on buildings. Not a lot of kid activities, more social and adultish activities.

Carlisle is a very cute town with an attractive historic...
Carlisle is a very cute town with an attractive historic district. Merchants and townsfolk are friendly and helpful. The Army War College is there, along with Dickinson College. Both campuses are beautiful. If you have military privileges, you can use the commissary and exchange. There are some yummy restaurants with crepes, Nepalese cuisine and American dishes. There is also a whiskey distillery you can visit.

I intend to come back next year, and have at least another...
I intend to come back next year, and have at least another day to see all the interesing places and history. Good place to eat across the highway from our hotel...a diner. Went to an Antique Fest at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, very nice. Then on to Bedford St. Antiques, so large great items to see.

They needed more information on the city in the room.
They needed more information on the city in the room. Restraunt, attractions, shopping, casino's.
Also information on the falls, boarder crossings, and things to do on the Canadian side. The information was out there it would of been nice to see that information in the room.
Really enjoyed the stay and was nice to see a Bible in the room.

This is a quiet location with friendly residents. While there aren't many activities, it's an excellent candidate for those seeking peace and tranquility. Be aware that most restaurants close by 9:00 PM.

This is a small town that had plenty of stores that met our needs. We were just there for 1 night on our way home. We had a pizza delivered from a local establishment and it was great! It was recommended by the concierge. I would stay here again for sure!

Right off the highway, easy to get to. The rooms were a good size and the beds were large and comfortable. The sheets were clean and soft and there were several pillows. The bathroom was ok and I liked that the sink was outside the bathroom. Very quiet and could park the car right in front of the room. Check in and out fast and easy.
Microwave and small fridge in room which was a pleasant surprise.
The pool looked nice but we didn´t have time to take a swim.
Good value for money. Would repeat.
