The side of Lake Winnipesaukee where Center Harbor is located has lots to offer. There are restaurants (I highly recommend Gusto's a small Italian Cafe that offers breakfast, lunch and pastries. The homemade focaccia bread and the cappuccino were excellent. We took a scenic boat trip on the Mt. Washington. When we got off of the Mt. Washington, Weirs Beach was 100 yards down the road. Nice beach for kids with a playground nearby. The scenic railroad would be something I would consider for my next visit. I just loved the entire area. It was in mid-September, so it was probably less crowded than usual.

I loved the location of the inn beautiful scenery close to restaurants supermarkets gas. The staff was helpful . I didn't like coming into the room and not being able to put my stuff down on a table the room has plenty of space but if you weren't out on the balcony there wasn't a place in the room to sit and eat .No full length mirror , and no washer and dryer for the guests.

This was the best experience I have ever had for travel lodging. Thais and the staff at the Sutton House made every minute of our stay extremely special. It was my husband's and mine anniversary and birthday weekend. We had never stayed at a B&B before, so we decided to it and turned out to the best decision. Thais was extremely warm and welcoming host. She made sure all our request were meat and even went a step further with an anniversary card waiting for us in our room. there was an amazing view of the lake in front of the house. When we entered the house, we were greeted with the smell of fresh baking, still in the oven, blueberry muffins. Those are my husband's favorites, so right from the start Sutton House captured our hearts. Lynn is the lady's name who made those incredible muffins and the breakfast she made was like a gourmet meal. The presentation and the atmosphere at breakfast was like a 5 star restaurant but more cozy. Thais was incredibly accommodating, kind and helpful. She made the experience so comforting and relaxing that I will always choose the B&B options of lodging instead of hotels from now on. We had an amazing room, amazing food and an amazing host/staff. We didn't stop smiling from the moment we arrived to the moment we drove away. I cant express enough grattitude to the Sutton House and all the staff for making our weekend unforgettable. We definitely will be staying at the Sutton House again. Thank you again to Thais, Lynn and all the staff from the Sutton House for a memorable weekend.
