Love staying here! My fiancé and I come up every December 11th and 12th as it was where I asked her if she “officially” wanted to be my girlfriend! Chester holds a very special place for us and so does this perfectly cute and cozy hotel. Specifically room, 210 ❤️ 😉 We will always stay at The Antlers Inn when we visit Chester, will see you next year!

The view from the back of the building is phenomenal! The mountains and trees in the distance are beautiful, and the area is so secluded from the loud sounds of a city. Loved the sound of running water from both the fountain they have and the creek that runs through the backyard of the property. And they have a fire pit available for use, which was our favorite part! Amazing place to stay if you enjoy nature especially.

Our studio cottage had absolutely everything you could think of to make us comfortable. It was sparkling clean and nicely arranged. Honestly the double bed was more comfortable to sleep in than my (very) expensive mattress back home; I slept like a rock. Nicest camp host you could ever meet and if I stayed there any longer we probably would have ended up as best friends. My husband and I would have definitely stayed longer if we could.

The breakfast was excellent. All was great.

The breakfast was excellent. All was great. I particularly liked the omelets. I left my cosmetic case and requested it be returned. I was told they could do this. Hopefully, this will not alter my opinion.

A rustic and charming small town, populated with helpful and welcoming locals, in a beautiful area. I only wish my own town were as friendly. As an older single female, I felt safe to walk my dog near the motel at night, and hike alone during the day. There were plenty of affordable eateries nearby, and it was not too far a drive to Lassen Volcanic Park and other lovely venues such as Lake Almanor. Chester had obviously had recent tough times ('21 Dixie fire, and record snowfall, winter '23) yet businesses were open and in good order. Chester is well located for hikers, birders, any eco-traveler, and what a beautiful area!

Great little place for a relaxing couple of days.

Great little place for a relaxing couple of days. Close to Mt. Lassen Park. Lake Almanor has lovely views. Very interesting lumber museum even though this is certainly not one of our major interests.

The lake bas beautiful, water was awesome.

The lake bas beautiful, water was awesome. Tennis courts were in good shape, it only took us a day and half to get a key. House was over a mile from beach at park. Park was wonderful for our kids. Town of Chester was clean and very friendly. The store had everything we needed. Our rental was a hugh disappointment, but the area and town were wonderful.
