Even on a main highway and with motorcycles coming thru town on that route, it quieted down about 9 pm and it was within walking distance of a really nice cafe where the food was excellent. On top of that, the cost of the accommodation was HALF what other places were in town. We stayed two days with Big Sky for the cost of the other places we saw.

The location is the perfect mix of privacy and convenience. Far enough out of town to have the perfect views and lots of wildlife visitors, but close enough to the basic necessities. And to top it all off, it was extremely clean!

The house was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. We cooked a couple of meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Dawnie was very responsive and helped us when our plans changed and we requested a later check out.

The house was very clean as well as the rest of the property...

The house was very clean as well as the rest of the property being very well maintained in a quiet neighborhood. The comforts of this home were exactly what we needed after a long day of exploring the surrounding areas. There is a grocery store just two blocks from the house making it convenient for getting items to cook your own meals. The hinge on the screen door was damaged prior to our arrival, most likely from the wind pulling it open. You need to be sure to pull the screen door all the way closed and ensure it latches.

Choteau is a nice town relatively close to Glacier.

Choteau is a nice town relatively close to Glacier. We enjoyed meeting people at the Antler Bar and had a fabulous dinner at the American Legion! Great ribs and tacos!! The Highlander tiny house was a perfect stay with beautiful sunsets and sun rises!! Elk were in the field next to the home every night and morning! A little hidden secret is the Teton Ski area (I almost don't want to tell anyone)!It is about an hour and you do have to drive on a service road but, it was such a quaint little ski area with just the right runs for us! Food and drinks are available too! They are only open certain days of the week!
