Clarksville is a quaint, charming little town right on the lake. The lake was very pretty and quite quiet for such a nice day weather-wise which was nice. The state park being so close was great for our one day trip be be able to get some time outdoors. Buggs Island Brewing has great beer and the food is good too. The view from BIB is wonderful and their outside space is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a view of the water.

I like Clarksville.

I like Clarksville. It's a small, almost quaint little town that turns in early. Retailers are friendly. There always seem to be tourist-related activities taking place within the town - plenty of fishing and boating activities; some golf - have not found that there is much swimming. Two of the hotels are more upscale than they had been during previous years. I did not like the hotel charging a different rate than was on their website - that was not great; knocking on my door 40 minutes before check-out time was not great; having to clean the patio furniture to enjoy the view from the patio was not great.
