First time glamping! Set up was great & so cute! Had 90s weather but luckily with a/c it made it much better. Beds were comfortable & the tent was so cozy. Park was great to visit & explore. Hiked along waterfall & got to see great views at lodge. Campground has nice sectioned off sites & makes it a little private.

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here. It is the perfection location to downtown Dahlonega. We also visited Babyland, which just a short 45 min drive. The staff and facilities are so nice and clean. I cannot wait to stay here again!

I participated in the Mountain Moonshine Festival for my first year. Location of motel was good to the location of festival; however, vendors should be given lower rates bc we are here to make money, not spend all we make. It was to far to travel back home each night and return the next day.

I loved the small country town!

I loved the small country town! It is beautiful and people friendly. The outlet mall is nice for shopping. We are Nascar fans and would love to go to The Pool Hall and watch a race. my husband is a Chase Elliott fan. We did eat dinner there but it was Saturday, so no race. The burgers were incredible. They came with so many fries none of us could eat them all. And it was like $9 for each of us??!! There are a lot of outdoor activities that we didn't have time for. We will be back.

Plenty of places to Shop.

Plenty of places to Shop. We ate dinner at Big Ds but we weren’t impressed. Staff was super friendly though. We were hoping for more touristy type things to do but we were short on time so we just went back to Dahlonega.

Review from a Oct 27th stay.

Review from a Oct 27th stay. Very disappointed in Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. We arrived on Oct 27th , check in ad was told the elevator was broken but would be fixed in a few minutes, so we proceed to bring in our luggage and figured it would be fixed my then, no it was not after waiting a half hour. We had to lug our luggage to our room only to find another disappointment. I paid for a King room with a Mountain view and only got a half view as we were right over the restaurant. Horrible! I Paid $264.69 for half a view, and it was of the forest! To boot the room was above a mechanical room or something like that because it humm all night!!! The restaurant ! skip that as the food was not that good and the service was horrible. The gift shop was a MESS !! boxes everywhere, t-shirts were all over the place, total mess. This place needs to pull it together, Think twice before booking here !! I will never return nor recommend this place.

I needed a quick place to spend the night while on a long trip. I arrived late and needed to leave early. The wifi was down, no big deal, I wanted to get to sleep anyway. The bedsheets seemed clean enough. The toilet seat had pee on it from the previous guest. The tv channel guide had been sitting in some brown liquid that I hope was coffee. I was pretty tired and fell asleep easily but the walls are thin and I could easily hear people walking up and down the halls and their conversations. There was no breakfast even though the listing said there would be. (Though after seeing the condition of the room, I'm not sure I would have eaten anything anyway.

I was very pleased with my stay at this Motel 6 location. It was quiet and clean. And most of all, I felt safe. I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. The bonus to me was a Bruster's Ice Cream location very close by!!!
