It is an old hotel with history. It may be creapy at night, but I considered it beautiful. It is also an old elevator. The breakfast was better than for other hotels from big hotel chains.

Charming hotel near nice bakery, restaurants, and cafe.

Charming hotel near nice bakery, restaurants, and cafe. Nice outdoor patio and comfortable bedding and bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Near the Dunes and an hour from Pagosa Springs. A place to unwind and recharge away from crowds.

After a rainy cold day the room was warm and the beds were comfortable, the shower was warm. We also ate at their restaurant and the food was delicious. I would definitely book their again and I will always remember this hotel as an excellent place.

We absolutely loved this faithfully restored hotel dating back to 1874 with lots of original features and details. The service was also excellent. This is everything but an anonymous hotel franchise but oozes authenticity and character.
