Awful beds and the desk clerk didn't know which rooms were occupied nor clean. Very disorganized and frustrating as he was giving us & other customers keys to try and see if rooms were clean and occupied!

There were restaurants very close to the hotel (within walking distance). We spent most of the day in Medora -- its only a 37 mile drive there, and the rooms are much cheaper in Dickinson. We did walk around the college one day -- a very nice campus!

We really didn't get to see much of dickinson.

We really didn't get to see much of dickinson. We there for a softball tournament. That being said the softball complex was the best I have ever seen. Great parking, well kept fields and very friendly staff. The only other advice I have is do not eat at Buffalo wild Wings. Waited almost 2 hours for food and our waitress was rude and not very helpful.

The dinosaur museum was way better than I expected.

The dinosaur museum was way better than I expected. My grandson loved it!! Dickinson was a great location for all the sights we wanted to see such as Theodore Roosevelt National Park, the mini golfing and Illusions in Medora. Easy drive to the Enchanted Highway and we took the Old Red Old Ten Scenic byway from Mandan to Dickinson. Lots of good restaurants to choose from!

I was passing through Dickinson to my home in Minnesota. The area seems nice and I may view this as a destination in its own right in my future travels. Seems like the gateway to TR national park and the badlands of ND.

We stayed on our way to Bismark after the north park drive .

We stayed on our way to Bismark after the north park drive . I would suggest staying there for the south entrance rather than Medora . Most people stay in Medora but it's pricey , more than treble what we paid . Theatre is a big attraction in Medora but tickets were $168!! Heard the next day it was religious with bad dancing so glad we missed it . Plus as a veggie I wouldn't want a pitchfork steak . Just check it out before going . Fab Mexican restaurant opposite hotel sombrero for dinner .
