We had a good experience at Suites for Less but I left...

We had a good experience at Suites for Less but I left something in the room and when I tried to contact the hotel to see if it could be returned to me or held until I can pick it up, I dd not receive a reply. I am still hoping to hear from them. We went into town and picked up food at Five Guys and wine at the Food Lion and brought it back to the room so we could hang out and watch football. That was fun (though we were sad that the Burger King was out of Impossible Whoppers.)

Emporia is my parent's home and where my family resides.

Emporia is my parent's home and where my family resides. Emporia is more of a travel through town. It has plenty of fast food restaurants and a Rosie's gambling casino, The BEST places for shopping is Walmart on RT 58 or Rose's on RT 301. Most of the restaurants are on RT 58 and intersect at the red light with RT 301. They've recently opened a Chic-Fil-A and Cracker Barrel is the BEST place for a full dining experience which also has a country store within the premises with lots of beautiful merchandise and great old style candy. Also great for purchasing gifts. If you're looking for fresh meats, visit Spivey's in town but they aren't open on Sunday and closes a half day on Wednesday. Any country staple is there including meats, cheese, and butter.

The room was clean. Staff were friendly. I did not eat breakfast. I could not turn off the TV while leaving. The remote did not function at all. I booked the Baymont expecting 2.5 - 3 stars rating. In reality Travelocity booked for me a Days Inn facility with 1 star rating. Therefore the price was excessive. The given by the Travelocity address is wrong. The GPS does not reconise it. The street address must be upgrated. The name of the facility should be upgrated also. It still has the Days Inn sign with a Baymont under it. The GPS is not smart enough to understand business transactions. Please help customers to find the place.

It was the worst place I've ever stayed in.

It was the worst place I've ever stayed in. The front desk person was rude, I called to tell him the bed was as hard as concrete he said all beds are the same. Well upon moving to the other bed in the room it was much better. Slept ok. Upon getting up in the morning, I went to shower and noticed the sink from last night didn't drain. So wiggled the plug part and it still drained slowly. Got out of shower dressed and found out my daughter's feet on the bottoms were black with dirt. Looked at my feet and they were the same. Ugh the floors were filthy.. I called again and asked for a redund.he told me I already stayed for the night so no refund will be given. No matter what the problem was.!!! So I took a video of my wife taking a clean towel wiping the floor off and OMG!! IT IS NOW FILTHY ALSO. I advise if you do stay in this location you inspect the room before you stay. I will attach the video.

They need to clean the smelly rugs and provide better air quality , and better products and decor, for the money felt like I was in a crappy cheap motel!!pet fee was outragious! 20.00 per nite!! Got cha!! Was told of the fee until your signed in. My dog sleeps in better accomondations, should have paid us to stay there.and breathing that moldy air was scary for my lungs!!

Staff was super nice, breakfast was good, and our room was clean. No real complaints, if I had to pick I’d say it’s about 2 years before they will need to spruce it (bathroom) up. Best choice in the area- will definitely go back.

The lady front desk employee when we checked in to the hotel. She helped me correct the wrong dates that I had reserved for my stay at the hotel. She was a real blessing and booking.com was useless and will never be used again.

Room was very large, bed very comfortable and clean with large window. The lady at check in was very friendly and jovial even though we arrived after midnight. Hotel was on route and would certainly stay again if in the area.
