This was a perfect place to stay, it was clean, roomy and decorated nicely. There was even wood and starter next to the fireplace. We were close to downtown and the Rocky Mountain National Park. The Falls River runs directly in front of the condo and was relaxing. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

Amazing place! The rooms are right on the river and complimentary s'more's were offered every night of our stay. Easy walking distance to main shops and only a 5 minute drive from the entrance to RMNP. We even saw a small herd of mule dear right outside the property gates! Also love the rustic vibe of the place. Couldn’t ask for a better spot in Estes!

Estes Park is heaven on earth.

Estes Park is heaven on earth. Especially if you're from an area without mountains, the view is absolutely beautiful. The downtown area is busy with plenty of shops and places to eat! Macdonald Bookshop and The Stanley are must visits! Ed's Cantina is absolutely delicious. If you are gluten free or have Celiac, Estes offers a TON of safe options! Parking isn't too expensive or hard to find. Elk are everywhere! Lake Estes is breath taking. I regret not staying another day, definitely give yourself an extra day or two here!

I enjoy Estes Park primarily because my brother and his wife live there. I have been going to Estes Park since the 1980s. The town itself offers lots of things to do and really gets busy during its summer tourist season. Of course, the Rocky Mountain National Park is the key attraction, offering scenery, hiking, outdoor activities and wildlife.

Most important for us was that Estes Park has two convenient entrance accesses to Rocky Mountain NP. There is a busy walkable downtown area full of shops and restaurants. The river walk is a pleasant place to stroll in the shade with lots of benches to take a break and enjoy a beverage from one of the coffee shops. There is a free parking garage and lot on the end of town next to the visitors center, where you can catch a free shuttle on one of six routes around town. We rode the gold line up to see the Stanley Hotel and to the Fall River visitor center to get advice from the rangers about the best trails for us before we went into the park. We recommend the Estes Park tram (feed the chipmunks at the top), the Inkwell & Brew, Macdonald Bookshop, Full Throttle Brewery, and taking advantage of the free parking garage and the free shuttles.

Very crowded for a holiday but still fun.

Very crowded for a holiday but still fun. I think the town prepares itself for crowds in a good way. Security is present to manage people and traffic. We also found tourists friendly and shopkeepers showing interest in their customers. We went to the grocery store and the line to check out was intimidating but moved very quickly. Overall a nice experience.

Estes park is a very popular place to visit.

Estes park is a very popular place to visit. The downtown and the national park are always crowded. It is difficult to get a timed entry and cannot just enter the park. (I am a native Coloradan and use to be able to enter the park at any time I wanted to. I miss that but understand why the time entry is needed. Everything has become extremely overcrowded and people are not near as courteous nor take pride in keeping the land clean and cared for. They trample the flora, do not use common sense when approaching wildlife, and it is quite sad.). The restaurants are very expensive to eat at and it irritates me that each individual items costs. Example you buy an entree like a hamburger, then you pay extra for the fries and extra for the drink or you go to a nice restaurant and you pay overprice for the main entee, the salad is extra, if you want a side of ranch, it is extra, then you pay for the drink. A meal at the Rock Inn for one person costs $40+ and that is one of the cheapest meals on the menu, I.e. beef stroganoff. That is ridiculous!

Beautiful location within a stroll of town. The front of house team are friendly and helpful, the housekeeping team are thorough. The hotel’s location by the river is delightful and the little touches make it homely, lots of seating by the river, popcorn and toasted marshmallows in the evenings.
