United StatesFront Desk staff - “Shelby” -was absolutely amazing, there was a hiccup with our reservation between booking .com and their computer system, but she more than made up for it and upgraded our room too at no cost to us, in fact made it cheaper, because the glitch got missed, Shelby went above and beyond to make our stay a great one, truly appreciative of how much she did to make our stay wonderful!!! She is the kind of staff member you would want to meet at every hotel, she does it right , takes care of her customers and does it with a smile 😊 on her face. Shelby !!! CanadaLiked the room. Was offered an upgrade for a king river view/separate room. Kids had pull out. Plenty of room. Comfortable, clean kitchen, laundry was a bonus. Kids loved the jetted tub. Def a comfortable stay! Enjoyed the easy breakfast option for a busy day ahead!

United StatesWe liked everything. The rooms were really clean and the TVs are big and clear. The river view was beautiful and short walk to the beach. Walls have good insulation and can’t hear other people in the other rooms. Taffy in the room was good!

Gearhart is less commercial and less busier than other...
Gearhart is less commercial and less busier than other coastal towns, with a relaxed vibe and quiet. That said, this town is super close to restaurants and services in Seaside and the art galleries of Cannon Beach. I was able to visit and enjoy all three towns and enjoy the amenities of all of them without having to do a lot of driving. I ate at Nonnies for Italian dinner one night (Seaside) and yum. I enjoyed the Dragonfire Gallery in Cannon Beach on another day. My favorite was walking the clean deserted beach at Gearhart where I had nature all to myself.

The location was fabulous, just a short (15 min.) trip to either Astoria or Seaside. Loads of restaurants for those who choose not to cook. We were a little disappointed that there were not more beach access points.

Location is fantastic! Quiet location. Very walkable to the center of town and the beach. Super close to Seaside, Cannon Beach and Astoria! Easy to fit three cars in the drive. The layout of the house makes it easy to close off sleeping zone v. hang out area.

Great vintage beach house. Short walk to the beach or use the vehicle access just a couple of streets away. Nice deck in the back. Beds were comfortable. Sauna was awesome! Quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay again.

I loved the proximity to the beach. The living room was large enough for our entire group to hang out. I was very happy to have three bathrooms. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable.
