Liked the room. Was offered an upgrade for a king river view/separate room. Kids had pull out. Plenty of room. Comfortable, clean kitchen, laundry was a bonus. Kids loved the jetted tub. Def a comfortable stay! Enjoyed the easy breakfast option for a busy day ahead! Friendly staff.

We liked everything. The rooms were really clean and the TVs are big and clear. The river view was beautiful and short walk to the beach. Walls have good insulation and can’t hear other people in the other rooms. Taffy in the room was good!

Seaside is a no brainer.

Seaside is a no brainer. The most popular beach town in northern Oregon. Easily accessible from hwy 101 south or north. Near to several other beaches and attractions. Astoria is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Tillamook is just down the coast as is Cannon Beach. Fun shops and eateries on the main road. Plentiful hotels. Great beach ambience with multiple beach access points and a long promenade.

Loved being within walking distant to everything.

Loved being within walking distant to everything. Spent some time walking on the beach both days, the weather was amazing. Had my 17-year-old great granddaughter with me, so we spent time in the arcade and wondering in shops. Would highly recommend Normas' and The Twisted Fish ( Beef Stroganoff) is amazing. And a must stop is Sea Star Gelato.

This hotel was pretty good, not a new hotel, but the staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable. I like the breakfast and free cookies and that you can rent DVDs if you are inclined. I loved the pool and hot tub, very nice. And the location is great, a little away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but just walk 3 blocks and you're there to see all the sights and stuff, and very close to the beach. The room is a little stuffy due to no AC. The fan helps but to cool down the room well you have to open the windows and front door as well. Only thing that needs work is the toilet: we had to hold down the lever a long time for it to flush down, so probably just needs an adjustment. Otherwise I really like this hotel.

The historic town of Seaside has sadly been transformed into a massive carnival/amusement park with tons of neon, gaming storefronts, touristy shops etc. Just be prepared that if you are looking for a quieter, historic Oregon coast town, Seaside is not the place. We did go to the Seaside Aquarium, which was worth it; the seals were neat.

Seaside is the ultimate walkable beach town, especially if you are traveling with kids. The beach itself is fantastic, offering plenty of space for morning seashell hunting and searching for crabs at low tide. During the day, it is perfect for a game of beach volleyball, and you can wrap up the evening with a cozy beach bonfire under an absolutely incredible sunset. The town is extremely easy to navigate on foot, packed with cute local shops to explore. The historic Seaside Aquarium is a huge hit feeding the seals is a must-do experience. There is also a great local arcade that kept the kiddos entertained. It is the perfect mix of classic coastal charm and family fun! 📌 Quick Trip Highlights Beach Activities: Perfect for morning low-tide exploring, volleyball, and evening bonfires. Family Fun: Don't miss feeding the seals at the aquarium or playing games at the arcade. Walkability: Park your car once; the shops, dining, and beach are all easily reachable on foot.

I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Mo's after walking a few miles on the beach. I also suggested to Mo's that they should have a community table as a seating option for solo diners/travelers.

The overall location was perfect. It is right on the beach. The main strip runs right from the hotel towards the center of town. Plenty of shops and restaurants all within walking distance. My wife and I didn't have to drive anywhere to find something to do on our 4 day visit.
