IsraelWe had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Antlers at Glenwood Springs. The rooms were very spacious, well-equipped, and exceptionally clean. The location is very convenient, close to a shopping center and other amenities, making everything easily accessible.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent – generous, fresh, and truly enjoyable.

The round a bouts in this town are crazy.
The round a bouts in this town are crazy. But after awhile it got better. The taco trucks were great. The adventure park is not for the faint of heart. Cave guide was great. Went white water rafting. It was lots of fun. Went on a utv tour guide was Alyssa she was fantastic. I think it was called adventure outdoors. She took out pictures and helped us pick out rocks with crystals on them. We would have had to buy those rocks in town. Hot springs were great we preferred iron mountain hot springs. Two rivers park we liked a lot for hiking.

My review wont make any difference, because people stop anywhere to get a room. But for a listed hotel on Bookings.com it was terrible. First off the staff was not very professional at all. It was friday night, probably one of the busiest times of the week. Lets put our best staff on at that time. The "girl" that took care of me was just so involved in her life, the weekend, how tired she was, etc. Her nails were so long she couldn't pick of my room card. I was tired and she talked, talked, talked, and kept telling he how tired she was, and ready for the weekend. Blah, Blah, Blah. then I found out after paying 238$ for a room for one night that I had to pay for parking....What a scam. So I paid on line, and then when I parked there was two truck loads of workers, eating and drinking in the back of the parking lot. I told them at the front desk and she said...we have never had an issues.....wow that comforting.....Clean up the mess, include parking, train your staff, and maybe, just maybe some of us who appreciate a good stay, will be back..

For bike riders, the Rio Grande Trail is outstanding!
For bike riders, the Rio Grande Trail is outstanding! You can ride downhill (Aspen to Glenwood) and take the RFTA bus uphill (free for seniors). Best place to eat is Heather's in Basalt. We stayed at the Best Western Antlers in Glenwood. This was our second consecutive year for our Anniversary celebration. Might be a continuing trend as this is so perfect it's hard to beat.

We stayed just for the night, and only had time to drive...
We stayed just for the night, and only had time to drive around the town a bit. Driving into town from the East along the Colorado river through the canyon was spectacular. I had thoughts of turning around and doing it again.
What I didn't like about the town was how congested it was around the major turn about in town, along with the horrible parking around the actual Glenwood Springs itself, just to see it.

Glenwood Springs has a lot to offer.
Glenwood Springs has a lot to offer. Our primary destination is the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue, which we highly recommend. Over the past 15 years we have attended the shows and enjoyed the dinners at lease 12 times.

no mid level places to eat except Village Inn
either junk food or high-end dining- and what is there is not easy to find or access
* Wonderful breakfast served at most travel hotels -but after a while its all the same food and choices.
I miss the old style cowboy/ranch/mountain small town cafes with local specialties.

I really appreciated the outdoor spaces on the property. Having a playground, fire pits and hot tub available added a lot to our stay. We would love to return in the warmer months when the outdoor pool is open.
Also-this is the only hotel I’ve stayed at in YEARS that had good coffee at breakfast. Thank you—as a tired mom this little detail means A LOT, ha.

The location was excellent, right on the main street in Glenwood Springs. The rooms are not new (think 1980's motel) but they are exceptionally clean and taken care of well. The beds are comfortable. The flowers all around the property are beautiful. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. The hotel has a bike/ski locker to store equipment.

The bed was large, very clean and really comfortable, and the bedroom itself was well appointed, clean and spacious. The hotel lobby was really impressive and parking was available for just $20.00 a night. The hotel was about a minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants.
