Our stay was exceptional! The place itself was wonderful, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully laid out. Very warm and welcoming. We especially loved the horses and chickens- and the amazingly cool Icelandic Sheepdog! Can’t say enough good things about the hosts, too! Just wonderful folks and a wonderful place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Azalea Lodge is the perfect road-trip stopover. We stayed 3 nights and were surprised at how quiet, cozy and clean the property was. It felt like staying at your quirky grandma’s house, since the property is older, but has been kept in good condition. It was very clean and comfortable and we would stay there again if we stop in Gold Beach.

Motel 6 Gold Beach is clean and employees especially Jackie, the receptionist was very accommodating, helpful, graceful and courteous to the customers. My family and I like the location of the Motel 6 Gold Beach because of the great views and not too far from the Port Orford where we spent most of our time with our family. My family and I, plan to book our stay with Motel 6 Gold Beach next time we com back for a visit to Port Orford, Oregon.

We were glad we got an upgrade with kinda of an Ocean view @...

We were glad we got an upgrade with kinda of an Ocean view @ Irelands instead of a room over the office by the street, but was never told that it was a $150.00 a night X2 upgrade which was a a big surprise when we got the charges! The gal in the office said it was a $15.00 difference to get an upgrade to stay @ Irelands with kind of a view NOT A $150.00 a night difference! what a shock that was! We could have stayed at a deluxe place for that price! We had to walk over to The Gold Beach Inn to get the minimal amount of the crappy breakfast both mornings, very poorly done! It was a joke for that much money!

Gold Beach is a very friendly beach town.

Gold Beach is a very friendly beach town. A lot of people golf here. There's fishing, crabbing, shopping at gift stores and rock shops in Old Town. There's also plenty of choices for restaurants and bars. The mouth of the Rogue River is nearby. I highly recommend visiting Agness either by driving or signing up for the Mail Boat trip.

Gold Beach is a beautiful central point for exploring the more rugged southern coast like Samuel Boardman state park and the Rogue River corridor. Gold Beach has a few good restaurants and it is a short drive to Brookings for even more variety.

Gold beach bbq is great food.

Gold beach bbq is great food. The other great food is sunset family pizza. Their tri tip pizza is awesome I recommend either place. I love goin to gold beach cause it's a quiet little town with lots of character.

Gold Beach is a beautiful little town in Oregon right on the ocean. Jerry's Jet Boat rides are amazing and highly recommend them to anyone that wants to see wild country from the Rogue River. This is the second time we have gone, and we have loved it so much. The team at Cougar Lane Lodge in Agness are amazing and the food is great.

Nice hotel with a very nice and secluded location on a ridge above Gold Beach. Very pleasant outdoor area with, among other things, benches, and barbecue facilities. This was a pleasant surprise and diversion from the motels that are usually right next to the main street or a freeway. We were greeted in a friendly and professional manner when we arrived, and I got a positive impression of the service. Seemed to be a well-run place. As for the rooms, this is a very standard Motel 6, as you would like to know it from countless another Motel 6

Everything about this hotel was superior, the room and furnishings, the very welcoming staff, the location and the view. The price was quite a bit lower than we have paid for accommodation at several other hotels/motels along the Oregon coast - considering the overall level this is extremely good value for money. This was the last night of our holiday - what a lovely way to cap off a great trip.

A lovely place along the Rogue River on the outskirts of Gold Beach. The view was enchanting even on a cold, rainy afternoon. There was a small outdoor patio which would have been perfect to relax on a warm, sunny afternoon. The indoor hot tub in a separate building was a welcome bonus. Lots of handy parking. The room was spacious and very clean.
