Very clean, well maintained, cute… close to Custer battlefield… 12 miles. That was the reason we stayed here… going to the battlefield… it’s a perfect home base for visiting there. it’s in walking distance to several restaurants, and shopping. The managers… Amy and Waylon were fantastic! Friendly, responsive to our needs, and knowledgeable about the town of Hardin and other attractions in the area. Great Neon sign!

Hardin is close to the Battle of the Little Big Horn, we needed a place to stay and extra day . Once we checked out of Super 8 which was nasty we found a great little mom and pop place called The Lariat. Rooms were big and spacious and the price was right. There is also a great spot to eat dinner called The Outlaw.

There just were very few choices of places to stay in order to visit Little Big Horn Battlefield National Monument, so this location was good for visiting this site. However, the place is badly in need of renovation. There is only a tiny ice machine that was not working. The room door had the weather stripping coming off the door. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER AT ALL. The coat hangers would not stay on the rack because the plastic casing that was supposed to hold the metal rods were splayed out and the hangers kept dropping. Nonetheless, the front desk staff were kind and friendly; just ineffective in correcting the water problem. Very limited restaurants nearby; only McD's for fast food, too.

The hotel is decent for the price.

The hotel is decent for the price. Seems newer than we remember for Hardin. The TV channels would not change is the only bad thing we experienced. The town is close to the Little Bighorn Battle Memorial site, which was a big part of our reason for stopping in Hardin.

The owner of the hotel had a problem with the hot water heater , which he was unable to fix as it was late on Saturday , so he said we could still stay vs closing the motel until he could fix it on Sunday , however he refused to take payment. This is the best attitude I have ever seen in a Motel anywhere in the world. Will recommend this to anyone

Location was fine considering there wasn't much else especially if other hotels in Hardin were already booked.
