United StatesEverything was perfect and even better than advertised, walking distance to all services in Healy. Quick and beautiful drive to Denali National Park, (10 miles, wonderful views and wild life sightseeings along the way). Black out curtains in cabin are lovely for the midnight sun! And good lord the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! What is that mattress, I must have one?

Healy seemed like a nice small town.
Healy seemed like a nice small town. We had chosen it because of it's proximity to Denali National Park. (10-15 minutes). We did not do much other than hang out at the cabin we had rented but we did have a great dinner out at 49th State Brewery.

Healy is very convenient if you have a car and are visiting...
Healy is very convenient if you have a car and are visiting Denali National Park and Preserve. There is a reasonably good grocery and liquor store. Denali Park is amazing, and I could not recommend it more if you like mountains. We were lucky enough to actually see the mountain.

Just north of Denali village and park. We enjoyed our stay here. There is a grocery store that also has liquor. The 49th state brewery restaurant and Thai take out are other possible options for food.

Healy is conveniently located nine miles north of the entrance to Denali National Park. There are several restaurants on the highway corridor, as well as motorist services. There is a Three Bears store for all of your groceries and supplies. We had a great dinner at 49th State Brewing, a small chain craft brewery.

Not really THAT much to do in Healy unless you are an actual...
Not really THAT much to do in Healy unless you are an actual resident. It's a very small town that seems to depend heavily on tourist traffic (it's just down the road from Denali National Park). I am a frequent visitor to Denali National Park, so I go through Healy a lot. There is a good grocery/hardware/sporting goods store, a couple diners, and a fantastic brewery/restaurant (49th State Brewery).

Healy is about 18 minutes from the Denali Park entrance so a great location. The pricing is much lower than directly outside the park. It has a grocery store, gas station and a couple of restaurants.

NOT a hotel but a dated motel with postage stamp sized bathroom but comfortable beds and very quiet sleep
Now staying at Aurora Denali Lodge with modern facilities like a normal comfortable hotel at a comparatively lower room rate !

Location was away from towns but within walking distance of Healy, the store, brewery and the Totem Hotel. We had a pick up and drop off arranged. The property was pleasant and quiet.
