The views are amazing ! The home was very beautiful and clean. Had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The covered patio with the most comfortable furniture was a great place to sit with coffee in the morning.

It was my wife birthday,we stayed in that place for 2 days. Everything was good ,hotel is’t new,but all clean and good condition. Perfect lake view room,you can walking around and enjoying 🙏🙏🙏 at 8 pm you can go outside to main fire place,and cook marshmallows on fire,it was pretty cool 👍 restaurant was excellent,staff,food,view,piano music everything was amazing 👍🙏

Nice quaint town, good shopping, everyone was nice.

Nice quaint town, good shopping, everyone was nice. Just far enough away for a quick trip & close enough to home (4hours) that if an emergency arises we can be back home fairly quick. Great weekend getaway for us.

Only an overnight stop but on driving through the town looked nice. I would have liked to have gone into the gardens. A little recreation area by the lake was very nice especially watching the sun go down. Looks like you can hike or drive up the mountain too.

Dinner at the Lakeside Tavern was delicious.

Dinner at the Lakeside Tavern was delicious. Oh those jumbo fried shrimp!! The service was good and the atmosphere was friendly and most enjoyable. I loved the view from my table by the window. I could see the lake and the mountains. Getting around in Hiawassee was super easy. I was impressed with the fairgrounds. Parking was easy and exiting after the music shows I attended was extremely quick and easy.

Our visit was for the Daly/Vincent music festival.

Our visit was for the Daly/Vincent music festival. Music was Great but getting down and up from the music hall was to strenous for my wife. the reasturant we would normally eat it near the Holiday Express was closed down. inconvient. We are a SENIOR Couple and have seen the area several times but still come for the music events. Thank you. Robert Parnell

Lake is a big attraction and busy for the holiday week.

Lake is a big attraction and busy for the holiday week. Hiking to waterfalls was enjoyable. Chamber of Commerce provided much useful information. Cupid Falls was flowing good and easy to get to. We had dinner at Bronco's attached to the motel.

Hiawassee is one of the prettiest little towns in the USA.

Hiawassee is one of the prettiest little towns in the USA. There are lake and mountain views everywhere you drive. There are plenty of restaurants and shops for your visit, as well as hiking trails and scenic views for great photo ops.

We loved how quaint the lodges were. The breakfast was adequate with choices of cereals, bagels, muffins, cakes, fruit, along with tea/coffee available all day and fruit juices for breakfast. The decor was in keeping with the hotel and was kept very clean at all times. Lovely lounge area with roaring fireplace. Staff were always very friendly and on hand if you needed anything. Location was perfect for our son at Young Harris College. Views were amazing We will definitely be returning.

The hotel has been gutted and rebuilt.It resembles a roadside hotel of years past. Everything is new and modern. Beds linen, towels and comfort are excellent. TV is Roku. Locks are coded and sent to you in a email. Price point was good compared to other hotels. Shower was excellent. Everything was clean.
