Although we checked in very late (delayed flight), and were very tired, I instantly knew this was going to be a special place. I love the repurposing of the bottleworks into a chic but playful hotel, one that embraces its Art Deco past but not afraid to do its own thing. The room was spacious, the bed super comfy, the shower glorious. I would stay again in a heartbeat. But I also want to give a shout out to the very accommodating staff, especially Renee at the front desk, who went out of their way to help me locate a bag I accidentally left in our airport taxi. With her help, I was reunited with it before we left Indy!

I came to this hotel because I was attending the eras tour on 11/3 and the staff was super friendly!! They treated my boyfriend, my brother, and I with the most respect ever! The staff member at the desk even took our photo infront of a flag for us to keep with a Polaroid.

The staff was warm and welcoming up on arrival. The king size bed was very comfortable. The amenities in the room were exceptional even down to the small details such a make up removal wipes, full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The mini Mart store had a nice variety of drinks and snacks and even medications, tweezers and hair brushes. The area has a lot of food options plus a Kroger's and Walmart near by.

The Crossroads of the USA

Indianapolis is known as the Crossroads of America and it certainly provides a cross-section of US life. Practically every music genre and cuisine are covered, as are all the classic American sports.

The city has earned international famed through the Indianapolis 500, the highlight of the IndyCar racing season held at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The track also hosts the NASCAR Brickyard 400, while the Indiana capital’s NFL team wow the crowds at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The city also has a rich cultural offering with museums covering everything from the Civil War to contemporary art. At the world’s largest Children’s Museum dinosaurs can be seen trying to make their escape. Perhaps they’re heading for the White River, whose peaceful banks are lined with several parks and Indianapolis Zoo, opposite the restaurants and entertainment venues of the vibrant Downtown.

The Central Canal overlooks the skyscrapers which now eclipse The Soldiers and Sailors Monument, once the tallest building. To the north is the Indiana War Memorial, while west is the State Capitol, a block from the Indianapolis Convention Center. Across the street is Circle Center Mall, just one Indy shopping option.

Love the city! So much to do. Easy to navigate around. The Greenwood mall south of the city is close and great shopping. The Castleton mall north of city is also great to shop at too. The Zoo is also amazing! Harry and Izzy’s is a must to eat at! They have the best lunch you can get for the price! The Parlay- 2 Prime Rib Sliders or 2 chicken sliders or mix and match( the prime rib ones are the best melt in your mouth), fries, salad or soup and 2 pieces of their amazing best in town Shrimo cocktail. And also got to try their seasonal Crème Brûlée!!! A MUST! They are located in downtown Indy on the corner near the parking garage on Georgia st. Absolutely my fav restaurant in town. The Homewood Suites 100% best hotel downtown to stay at. The Breakfast is buffet style and totally worth it. The best hotel breakfast around! The second best hotel is the Omni!!! Great hotel too.

Exciting city. Lots of activities. Friendly people. Reasonably priced. I used to live here. Back visiting friends and family. While living here I visited most of the sites and attended many sporting events. I don't recall any disappointment.

Beautiful city! Lots to see within walking distance. Loved the veterans memorial statue, highly recommend the Fountain Room for steaks. Had a blast on the scooters. This unit was directly on the Indy 500 Parade route which was lots of fun!

I enjoy indianapolis on my yearly visit, I attend the indy 500 every year I can. the road construction through I70 is rediculous causing major back up of traffic the state and city really need to step up their game on road contruction terrible that the main throughfare that goes most of US is always under construction. downtown is a beautiful area many interesting shops and plenty of restuarants to chose from

I had never been before and the only thing I didn’t like was...

I had never been before and the only thing I didn’t like was all the construction going on with no heads up that roads were closed ahead.. I had to turn around in the middle of the street and it was difficult with cars parked down both sides. The stadium was so awesome and I was thankful the roof closed! Not sure of the officers name but one was EXTREMELY RUDE and offered no help when we let him know we were lost trying to find where we parked. We had been walking for an hour in the pouring rain but found 2 others that were amazing and even charged my phone so I could pull up the maps to find the car and they even assisted with directions.

Was there for Final Four, which made parts of downtown somewhat lively. Otherwise quite a quiet city. The Mass Ave area looked to be the most authentic, lively area. Vonnegut museum was worth the stop that day.

The room was excellent and very comfortable, possibly the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in. In fact we didn't use all of it, it was so big. The only thing I would say is that the pillows are quite rubbish compared to the rest of the bedding and furnishings so they should replace those. The hotel overall is very nice and clean and comfortable, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, the bar is good and the location is excellent for downtown Indy.
