Fantastic condo for a family of 4, the place was super clean and very spacious. Parking was easy. Great access to June Mountain for skiing. The condo had all of the amenities you’d want. Would stay there again.

The manager was very friendly and extremely flexible with our situation with our son getting sick unexpectedly and us needing to make some changes to our reservation. The location is amazing. The motel is simple and what you would expect for a 2 star motel/hotel, but everything was very clean and exactly as described, maybe even nicer than the online pictures. The little kitchen was great.

My husband had a great day of fly fishing.

My husband had a great day of fly fishing. I relaxed on the deck with a good book. There are so many things to do in the June Lake area. We did some sight seeing. We usually come to relax, swim and fish. We ate at the Tiger Bar for dinner and as usual, it was delicious! We hope to be back soon!

June Lake features some of the best fishing on the planet!

June Lake features some of the best fishing on the planet! From Lake fishing to creek and river fishing, there are a lot of choices. Additionally, the hiking is amazing, with entrances to the JMT and PCT with access to some amazing alpine lakes and sights. Don't expect Aspen Colorado! June is quaint and laid back - perfect for a "slow it down" break from life's crazy speed.

There's a beach and it's nice, you'll have to drive to it regardless and none of the hotels have a real view of the lake from them except maybe some houses on the hill if they're AirBnBs.

Like the small town atmosphere. Not overcrowded with tourists . We rented a pontoon boat on the lake which added to our experience. Beautiful vistas with raging waterfalls and surrounding beauty.

Beautiful Nature/Scenery as well as Accommodations at Double...

Beautiful Nature/Scenery as well as Accommodations at Double Eagle Resort were even better than the great expectations previously had prior to trip. Other exciting areas (Mono Lake/Bodie Historical Town) were a near drive and also very enjoyable. Would return in the future for another relaxing and comfortable vacation, however, would choose to stay longer than I did to be able to have even more relaxation and fun.

A lovely studio ‘lodge’, spotlessly clean with everything you could need. We only stayed for one night so didn’t use the kitchen area but it was well stocked with equipment to use. The location was fantastic, by both June and Gull Lakes, with trails to walk along. Also close to several restaurants and a great brewery.

Whispering pines is a great place to stay if you’re passing through the June lake area. Very simple hotel, with all the amenities including a full kitchen with an electric stove burner. The only complaint was that there were no pots or pans to cook with, so bring a pan if you want to cook breakfast.
