We didn't spend much time in Kalkaska.

We didn't spend much time in Kalkaska. We came to see 7 Bridges trail and Ruggs Pond. We ate at Moose and Stella's Cafe where the hamburger was truly excellent and the salad was good, and generous. We also had a pizza at G's Pizzeria and Deli. Their deluxe pizza was very good.

It's a nice town. Has anything you would need.

It's a nice town. Has anything you would need. Cherry street market is real nice and you are only 25 miles from Traverse City, which means costs are cheaper than Travers. Also, casino is about 18 miles.

Every member of the staff that we interacted with was...

Every member of the staff that we interacted with was extremely pleasant and helpful. I was delighted to see a smoking area outside with chairs and a roof! Usually don't get either one. The beds were obviously new and really comfy. The TV was good and they did have a channel listing card. The hot tub was large and really hot! The only downfall for the entire property was the continental breakfast was delivered to our room in a bag due to Covid. Not a fan of cellophane wrapped muffins or day old bananas.

The All Seasons Resort was fantastic! Very clean and quiet. Our room had a recent renovation with a queen and a king bed. That was more than what we were expecting and a pleasent suprise. The other thing we were excited about was the hotel had a quiet time policy that started at 9pm. The pool area was also restricted to adults only from 9pm to 11pm. Which was nice to be able to enjoy the pool and hot tub with out kids screaming.

Booking.com listed a breakfast available for 10 cents. The lady checking us in seemed really surprised by that. They offered coffee and had a basket of snacks that you could choose something from. The hotel is very dated, however the lady checking us in was super friendly, the rooms were clean, the bathroom was big, and we were within walking distance to the historical downtown. For the price, it was what I expected.

The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was only 30 minutes from Traverse City. We were in town for the cherry festival and this hotel was a lot more affordable than the ones close to town.

This appears to be an older hotel, but they are working hard to make iterations of improvement and to make the experience as good as possible. We appreciated this and enjoyed our stay.
