Our room was very large and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Having an extra blanket was great because the weather was chilly. The location right on the beach was beautiful, great for a morning and/or late afternoon walk. Very safe and friendly establishment. Breakfast was delicious and a different take on continental with hard boiled eggs, fresh orange chunks, English muffins, bagels and of course the freshly made (just from the oven) muffins all reviewers have raved about. Even though the inn was quite busy somehow the staff managed the small dining room turnover very well and we always got a table. It was great staying in a place with so much history and charm.

We are yearly guest of this beach, been coming since we were kids. It is a clean, inviting beach. It is safe for children and also quiet for adults. The nearby Town of Kennebunkport is a quaint NE fishing villages. Small quaint shops, wonderful variety of restaurants. Allison's offers great lobster rolls. Almost all places are walking distance. If you are looking for charm and a welcoming atmosphere this is the place to go!!

The bed was comfy, the view of the ocean from our room...

The bed was comfy, the view of the ocean from our room balcony was amazing, walking through the town and shops were great, the restaurants were great especially Alice’s. Also the breakfast and coffee all day , and the homemade muffins were special. They had a hot tub and bicycle’s for free on the property. Everything was great , loved our stay and will definitely go back for that view and private beach.

The Winter solitude was very enjoyable and a nice get away...

The Winter solitude was very enjoyable and a nice get away for us. Thoughh the temperatures were chilly there was a lot of activity on the beach. We actually saw people in the water for a dip or surfing.

Beach was good. Watching people with their dogs was so fun.

Beach was good. Watching people with their dogs was so fun. Dogs were not on a leash, so often a new dog would arrive and the dogs would run to each other like kids on a playground. We wish we had our dog.
