The room was very clean and well outfitted. All appliances were virtually brand new. The location was excellent, very close to the beach and the pier, and some excellent restaurants. The parking was very convenient.

Island Jewel is located in Kure Beach, just 18 miles from USS North Carolina and 2.5 miles from Carolina Beach Boardwalk.

The customer service was amazing, from the front desk, to the bar staff and the housekeeping staff! I also love the fact that we were offered to stay a little longer to enjoy the amenities. We were actually able to enjoy the pool and bar.

I specifically asked for an ocean view. What i got was hilarious. A very small window , like 16" x 16" view of the ocean. Thankfully, it had a blind. You know that pesky morning sun and all.
