Walmart is close by, if you need gas or anything you forgot to bring on your trip. There are so many restaurants in the area to choose from. Biscuit King is just down the road, they have a great breakfast and the prices are reasonable. Getting around Lexington is easy, my daughter lives there, so she always knows where to take me. She took me to a new antique shop called Evenbrooke located at 15 Murphy Drive Lexington, NC 27295. Evenbrooke is a vintage market experience. Over 100 vendor showcases with items ranging from antique, home decor and furnishings, hand crafted and decorative. The prices are reasonable, and I could have easily spent more money than I did!

I've already stated it in my review! But I will say it again! I had a pretty good experience staying at Quality in Lexington, N.C. And I was only staying there for emergency reasons! Because of not knowing if I was going to lose my power and not wanting to be stuck in my house without power or heat or anyway to make food! So I decided to go ahead and get a room.

Bad experience.....front desk gave my booking to someone else and charged my card for it then charged me for rebooking me. Double charge on my card! Asked for non-smoking room and got a SMOKING room...very strong smell!! Because they gave my non-smoking room to the guy that took my reservation. Door to room hard to close. Pillows were little square pillows that were lumpy...Thank goodness I brought my own. Bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable! I was only there for 6.5 hours and it was bad experience....will not be back! Will think twice or three times before I stay at a Days Inn by Wyndham again!!!

Lexington is a delightful town W its own historic character. October has the BBQ Festival, summer will find U at High Rock Lake and in winter it's just a short drive to Boone and sking. Plenty of restaurants W unique flavours plus local vineyards- Biscuit King, Cookout, local Sea Food restaurants, Childress Vineyards , familiars like Cracker Barrel and Applebee's and one of a kind local BBQ..try each one to decide which is ur favourite style of Lexington BBQ. Then stroll over to the Candy Factory to pick up home made sweets!!

We were close to the interstate which made local travel easy...
We were close to the interstate which made local travel easy. We ate at several restaurants and the food was excellent. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly from service providers to people passing on the street.

The first room the heat didnot work, The second room was...
The first room the heat didnot work, The second room was fine. The second evening the area that we were on flood and we had to move out of the hotel. The desk lady help us find another place to stay. We have stayed at this hotel before. The flooding was due to the cool weather, the main water pipe burst. It was not the hotel staff"s fault.
