We stayed for two nights in a room did not get cleaned the first night. We were there for a family affair, and when we got back to the hotel late at night, we had no towels no clean room full trash, cans. Nobody touched anything. When I went to the front desk, they said they were short staffed and she couldn’t come to my room, but if I threw everything out in the hallway, she would give me new sheets and trash bags. She said to talk to the front desk in the morning and they would make it right. The front desk said they couldn’t do anything because I would have to get a hold of booking.com to get anything back from my stay. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and it was stuck to the back of the toilet, and there was evidence that mold might’ve been sprayed over. Our beds felt damp. They were hairs in the bathroom towels. They put us right by the front and Saturday morning every five minutes a door with slam and people were talking in the hallway at 6 o’clock in the morning until we got up.

Anytime I travel to Charlotte, I always have fun.

Anytime I travel to Charlotte, I always have fun. This was a short visit but I do plan to return soon. The restaurants are amazing and the scenery is great. Charlotte has a lot to offer and if life last, I may move back to Charlotte one day

Lake Wylie is a great fishery.

Lake Wylie is a great fishery. We had 6 new personnel best made over our 4 day stay. Make sure to eat at Papa Doc's, the food and atmosphere are great! Lake Wylie Pizza is good for a fast dinner when you come off the water. Goggle maps is on the money for helping you get around the area. Can't wait for our next trip to the area.

We overall loved the house, would stay again for sure!

We overall loved the house, would stay again for sure! Hot tub and outside fire pit were great! House had plenty of room and all needed toiletries, etc. The outside space was awesome, just needed cleaned up a bit, but very easy fix. We did not really have a chance to eat in Charlotte (other than a local pizza place) because we were traveling outside of the city for the most part. Accessing the house/neighborhood was very easy and convenient, very quiet neighborhood.

I love Belmont it’s small town life at it’s best with...

I love Belmont it’s small town life at it’s best with friendly locals and awesome food! The walks and places to “hike” are fun and we enjoyed our time there immensely! It’s also very close to the larger Charlotte making big city life easy!

I'm a Foodie and a Writer.

I'm a Foodie and a Writer. Just in town for a quick weekend trip so didn't see tons but did get to sample good diner food at the RED EYE and The MIDNIGHT DINER!! Just the old fashioned, good value and GOOD FOOD places I've been looking for! Also, have to mention I was able walk a little around NoDa area - I was looking for the OH MY SOUL Vegan place and OMG the place is sooo cute and they know their stuff when it comes to Vegan / Vegetarian fare - really good!!! Love the artsy, South African, International vibe and could see being very comfortable attending any event they had in their patio area. The big deal for me was attending the Spoken Word events in town. Experienced Poetica Neo Soul Fridays...a chilled place for intimate OPEN MIC, DJ music pumping, melanin popping and the LIVE SAXOPHONE MUSIC was off the Hook!! But really came into town for the 704 Poetry Show at DUPP & SWAT in Camp North area...real artist creative space vibe, good mixture of youth and elders, by the way GOOD FOOD - they actually had OXTAILS (I can't eat but told it was slamming) along with SLAP YO MOMMA MAC AND CHEESE (my cheat for the week)! There was an actual artist Sistah painting while the event was going on and of course what I came for - FIERCE POETS representing well!!! WOW! I'm very impressed with the entire CAMP NORTH area! It's fun, eclectic, artsy, ethnic, vibrant, stimulating mixture of the Arts, housing, enterprises...AND living! Loved to see an icre cream parlor with ALL OATMILK ICE CREAM! So anyone can eat ice cream and not feel deprived with lesser taste options or choices (lactose intolerent)!!! I came back the next day to LA CASETA'S to try a bean papusa for the first time...loved it! Admit to being on the hunt for the best vegan fried chicken sandwhich and told Charlotte has it so while I didnt this time...I will definately be back in town to find it!

The scenery is beautiful.

The scenery is beautiful. The temperature was 90-92 degrees everyday, no rain. Most of my visit was spent at family’s house, bowling alley, park and the hotel. Village Park in Kannapolis, NC was very nice for our family picnic. It had a splash pad and a train ride (for $2 per person) and electricity next to the pavilion we were at.

This is my go to hotel when laying over in CLT. I love the scent of the body wash and lotion. Rooms are clean, quiet, and roomy. 24 hour free shuttle to/from airport is great.
