Was a great stay, VERY quiet for where it is located by. Room was nice and cold then nice and hot when needed with no real draft noticed. Bed could have been a lil better but I didn’t mind it

Very modern and very clean. Easy to access and love the restaurant below. Just minutes out of the way from the San Marcos, but it is a quiet town. Will return.

The staff was always friendly and helpful. Even when the elevators went out for two hours on Thursday night. We were offered a room on the first floor because our room was on the fourth floor and my disabled husband can't try to walk up 4 flights of stairs. But we decided to wait it out.

My experience at Melrose saved a recent trip my husband and I took to Texas. It was supposed to be a warm getaway...until an ice storm hit! The staff at Melrose were exceptional, checking in on us and making sure we were ok. Every single person I interacted with there was a pleasure to talk with. Additionally, the room was nice and snug for 2 people to share. The bed and linens were incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor shower was a bonus (though only my husband got to use it prior to storm prep). The location was really conveniently located to get around the area. We will be looking to come back in the spring/summer to take full advantage of this property and what San Marcos has to offer.
