United StatesStayed in Los Banos for a friend’s birthday party and this was the closest hotel at a convenient price. I can’t complain. Bed was full size for just one person shower was spacious and the bathroom had the simple amenities of towels and soap. Thank God the heater was working on that cold night. It got too hot at one point. I’ll def book again next time I’m in the area.

I arrived at 10:34pm and no one was there,

MOMs Italian Restaurant has the best Chicken Marsala I've had in over a decade! Great bar tender and the customers were super friendly too. Thanks Los Banos!

My motel was on the edge of downtown so I took a long stroll...
My motel was on the edge of downtown so I took a long stroll to check things out. Not much to see, to be honest. Blue collar town, clean, more fast food chains than local restaurants. Some of the stores were boarded up but I guess that's just America now. Not particularly charming. Don't see it as the type of place one would go out of their way to visit. I stayed there because the internet told me it was exactly halfway between where I had been (Redding) and where I was going (Santa Barbara).

I literally checked in at 11 and checked out at 9ish. It was nothing special but the bed sheets were clean. The rooms need some updates, dusting, and walls cleaned, and a door lock. The door only had the bolted lock. Not the other classic hotel lock that’s on the wall and you flip it. The wall lock was broken. But hey. I slept good, in a clean bed. There was free wifi and parking. And the great customer service.

This was absolutely the most thorough, polite and friendly check in I’ve had in any hotel! The woman on the front desk is a brilliant first contact for this La Quinta. She was clear in explaining the facilities, gave us a choice of room locations, explained the card charges and answered my questions carefully. Room was good, pool area was great.

4 day stay for business. Everyone that I interacted with from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were genuinely nice and professional. Room was clean and comfortable. Could use some cosmetic updates but great value for the price.
I also found the hotel layout and parking to be extremely convenient!
