The apartment is newly renovated, super clean and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was incredible and we soon found out why there were 2 sets of binoculars - you can watch whales right from the balcony! The pool is smaller but good, clean and the water is nice and warm. We were able to see turtles every night right in front of the building on the little beach there. A proper beach is about 5 mins walking distance. We loved the location because it was 12 mins drive from the airport, super close to Kahului or Kihei for grocery shopping and conveniently placed to go explore the island - Lahaina, Road to Hana, Wailea.

Everything was brand new spotless luxurious and thoughtful. Yoga every morning by the pool- water aerobics twice per week. Lots of pools & lounge chairs to choose from- none of them crowded. Happy hour at two different pool bars at two different times. Adult- only pool was nice option and water slides were fun. Unlimited pool towels. Anything extra we requested from housekeeping arrived in minutes.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. It was fully stocked with everything from snorkel gear to spices if you want to cook! The host was very accommodating and responded promptly to everything I asked. You are within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. You can see turtles in the morning floating along the coast from the balcony. Waking up to the ocean is something to be experienced. I will definitely be coming back with my family again!!!

Clean, peaceful location. The owners were very kind and helpful. They left little snacks that were welcome. I wish we could have stayed longer. We loved breakfast on the lanai. The myna birds serenade us on the evenings.

Place was very clean. Centrally located for restaurants and overall in the island so easy to get to other places by car. I would stay here again.

This apartment was so nice and clean. It had everything in it you needed for a great vacation! Beautiful ocean view with a beautiful flower garden view from your balcony. Management was there if you needed them.

My family visits Maui frequently and usually stay at a smaller complex right on the beach (all the condos have excellent views so that was important to us when looking for somewhere new) just down the way from Maui Sunset. We travelled for business this time and decided to stay somewhere new. I loved the condo, it was clean, spacious, had a decent view, on the beach, heated pool (very important, though we visited this time during a storm and only my daughter used the pool since it was too cold for me), I liked the shopping cart situation Maui Sunset has for groceries (don't forget reusable bags!). I would like to stay again and take advantage of their rental kiosk. The front desk was great and even left me a voicemail that someone notified then the lights in our vehicle were left on.
