CanadaFor a small motel, the Fountain Creek Inn was exceptional for a quick stay so as to access the Barr Trailhead early in the morning. The rooms are upgraded and modernized, basic. but exceptionally clean. The self check-in was also a nice feature with the emailed keypad code provided.

If Hot Springs, Arkansas had a quirky cousin who skipped the rough edges, it'd be Manatu Springs. This is a cold-springs town with real character — all the charm, none of the sketch. No meth, no worries, just a genuinely fun little place that surprised us at every turn.
The Springs
The springs themselves were neat — refreshingly cold and a nice change of pace from the usual hot-springs routine. A great spot to cool off and take it all in.
The Arcade
Out of this world. Seriously, the arcade alone is worth the trip. We lost track of time in there, and it was a hit with the whole family.
The Food
Great across the board. We didn't have a bad meal the entire visit, and there's enough variety to keep everyone happy.
Something to Do Morning 'til Night
One of the best things about Manatu Springs is that it never left us bored. There were things to do early in the morning and plenty going on later at night — the town keeps a rhythm that works whether you're an early riser or a night owl.
Great for Kids
This is a genuinely family-friendly town. Our kids had a blast, and there's plenty to keep them entertained without the parents zoning out.
Bottom Line
Manatu Springs is a quirky, cold-springs charmer that punches well above its weight. Cool water, an unforgettable arcade, great eats, and fun from sunrise to well after dark. If you're looking for a laid-back trip with personality and plenty for the kids, this is the spot.

Close to Garden of the gods, 7 falls, cliff dwellings, and pikes peak. There are several nice, fairly reasonably priced local restaurants downtown. There is free parking lots and a free shuttle to the Cog railway station.

There is so much to do in the area that you could be so busy...
There is so much to do in the area that you could be so busy for quite some time. We spent 3 full days and was seeing many things during this time. I think this is enough time and allows us the opportunity to go back to see more
The cost and time it takes to schedule times to see activities we wanted to do/see is not fun. I miss the times you could show up and just do without having to plan your times to see things. The food in the area was good but pretty expensive. We enjoy visiting family owned or non franchise restaurants. Did like that there is free shuttle to places but it would be great if all hotels/motels could provide this information,

We loved everything about Manitou Springs we went to Garden of the God early Mornings and evening and ate at the Trading Post every day amazing food we were close to a lot of activities and and everything was close by

We stayed 3 nights in Manitou Springs.
We stayed 3 nights in Manitou Springs. Road the Pikes Peak Cog railway, ate locally throughout our entire stay and each restaurant was great! Visited Garden of the Gods, a must see! The office staff was exceptional and the hotel was great! Highly recommend!

I went to the area to see the Garden of the Gods. What I didn't expect was the town of Manitou Springs which is a quirky town full of unique stores and entertainment. Allow time to visit the town itself.

The breakfast offered there was very good. There were choices each day and I never saw anyone disappointed in the offerings. Everything I tried was delicious. The staff were excellent!
The entire hotel was very neat and clean. The pool and exercise rooms were tidy as well.

The location in town was perfect. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the bus to Pike's Peak Cog Railway. The hotel staff were friendly and prompt. Every request or question was answered swiftly.
